    "it's a small world"

And this is exactly why they should never have allowed alcohol into the Magic Kingdom! Such a slippery slope:D

6/25/13 - The Day Spectro Died... Sorry guys..

By saying Spectro is an original park element I was referring to the fact that it was a parade designed only for WDW, an original offering only available at WDW. I am aware of when the parade began and was not claiming that it was an opening day offering. I am also well aware and support the...

6/25/13 - The Day Spectro Died... Sorry guys..

I am getting sick and tired of losing original WDW park elements without receiving improved replacements. I am not one to dwell on the negative, but it seems that bit by bit we are losing show quality here and the company doesn't seem to care. It is becoming insulting. They provide less yet...

Breakfast on a Hollywood Studios day?

Another vote for Kouzzina! It is close and quiet and has an interesting menu that will be different from your other choices but still familiar. I highly reccomend the waffles with marscapone cream cheese!

    Epcot Cupcakes

Sunshine Seasons has some unique flavors like guava cream cheese that are really good. Karmel Kuetche in Germany has a good (but very sweet) one as well. Also try outside the International Gateway at the Boardwalk Bakery! They are sooo good!!

Does anyone keep a parkmap collection?

Yes I do. I have a set from every trip. I also have kept the daily/weekly "newspapers" that some resorts give out. I especially like the ones from Port Orleans; they have alot of interesting backstory about the resorts.

    Ever seen a celebrity?

I saw Brad Paisley at the Beach Club a couple of years back. I didn't say hi, but he overheard our group say that we thought it was him and he waved. Also saw Tiger Woods once at ESPN Club.

    Favorite place to eat

Ohana and Cape May Cafe are favorites and 1900 Park Fare is my favorite character location for breakfast or dinner. I love Crystal Palace as well. I book an early morning breakfast before park opening. I love walking down an empty Main Street USA on a sunny morning; its a unique experience and a...

    Beauty and the Beast rumor

I am not saying it would be my first choice, but I am surprised that they have not tried to adapt some form of "The Golden Mickey's" from the DCL in the Theater of the Stars. The theme of a Hollywood award show seems like a good fit for the theme of the park and the look of Sunset Blvd, and it...

    Beauty and the Beast rumor

I completely agree! I think a Mary Poppins dark ride or stage show would be an unique addition. Not only is the movie a classic, but the Broadway show has been a huge success as well, and DHS needs to keep a link to live theater in the park.

OMG I LOVE my "Alone" Time at Disney......Some of the things I love to do

I love wandering around World Showcase just soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the details. I also love striking up conversations with the people working in the shops. I've learned some interesting things about the different countries doing that!

Dang ! Decisions! PORS v CBR.

I was in the same position as the OP. Port Orleans was the first resort our family stayed at and after many trips we regard it as our home resort. We stayed at CB because of availablilty and I really feel it does not compare to POR. Boatrights is much better in quality and service than Shutters...

    Just fix one thing, please!

I picked quality because I feel like it encompasses much of what is currently lacking. Maintenance, cleanliness, creativity, variety in food and beverage, lack of new rides, etc. all share a common thread in the last decade or so and that is commitment to quality. There have been some...

What is your favorite minor attraction?

It would have to be Swiss Family Treehouse for me! It is so immersive and feels like you stepped right into the movie. In my opinion it is the type of thing that Disney does best, and I love the fact that it is "old school" and hasn't been changed; it has that sense of history to it. The movie...

What do you bring home from the World to keep the magic going?

I love to cook so I like to ask for favorite recipes at retaurants during the trip and get little things like cookie cutters, cake pans, and all things shaped like Mickey to add a little magic to meals at home. I also have to stock up at Basin and get an ornament at the Christmas shop in DTD. I...

The ONE area in Magic Kingdom to spend the day

My favorite land is Fantasyland, but since being hit in the legs with strollers in the heat of the day is less than magical, I choose Frontierland. It has Splash, my favorite ride, as well as Big Thunder. Pecos Bills is yummy and Tom Sawyer island is a nice break from the crowds. Plus it has a...

Anyone else thinks thr Jungle Cruise needs new jokes?

I agree. I love the script the way it is, but the last couple of trips the skippers have been less than enthusiastic. Either way it is a can't miss for me; especially if I can get in a nighttime cruise!

Vera Bradley + Disney Prints = Happy Me

I am so excited about this announcement! I have been hoping that Vera and Disney would team up for years now and the time has come!! I can't wait until our fall trip so I can pick up a few pieces of Midnight with Mickey (the black print) in the World. It dulls the pain of not being able to take...

Test Track is Ruined (spoiler alert!)

Thanks for this quote. For reasons that have nothing to do with this thread, I really needed to hear this now. Oh, and I am really excited to experience Test Track 2.0. I loved the original, but anything that brings a bit of a futuristic vibe back to EPCOTCenter is ok by me!
