Disney Treasure, DCL’s 6th ship, debuts in 2024

All the new ships are LNG fueled, which means they'll need the facilities at Port Canaveral, so yes

    Dinoland 2.0 vs All-new Land

Yep - keeping the good, especially the boneyard for kids - that place is an absolute godsend for folks with little kiddos - and add a people eating, air conditioned ride/attraction. heck, you could make a walk through dinosaur exhibit with all the projection mapping and display tricks that could...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

The silliest party is that if you take the Behind teh Seeds tour, you get to sample the silly cucumbers. People...are just kinda horrible, sometimes.

What if.... Gm is on its way out.....

I can't see GM going anywhere - the car showroom at the end is amazing marketing. And fun. You could make a case for Ford or Toyota , or possibly Volkswagen, trying to replace GM as a sponsor, I don't see that going way - and GM has a sense of being the American flag carmaker, things like this...

    Rentals

National had the best rate for July; I've been impressed with them both in the US and internationally. Get set up for the emerald club now and it's a very easy rental experience.

    Delux moderate or Value? Help

The Epcot area Deluxes are very nice - being able to walk to two park is a serious luxury. with park hopper back it means dinner in Epcot is easier. If that's not a big deal, 5 nights at Pop - easy hop onto the Skyovens and I like the somewhat small but very efficient rooms. If GF is on the...

Parks are Taking a Back Seat?

Those companies only don't record profits because they have good tax teams - they make money hand over fist. Disney + will likely always be run as a break-even or at a loss on paper, but it is the heart of the company's growth strategy for the future - it makes money. Lots of money.

Am I going to hate Pop Century?

Pop really surprised us in October. We were expecting to grin and bear it - we're Moderate and Deluxe guests until this trip - but honestly, it's a great place. The rooms are more cruise line style - compact, but well organized. Not huge, but for 2 adults and a 8 and 12 year old, still good...

News Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue replacing Liberty Inn

As a Memphian, I can assure you that ain;t no one missing anything there:) I kid. Somewhat. Nah, it won't be BBQ, but should still be better than generic burgers, and smoked chicken can be done en masse and still quite good.

Noob Mistakes You Made During Your First WDW Visit

Our first trips was being so worried about money we didn't have any table service meals, even with my mom and our 2.5 year old. Sometimes you need to sit and let people bring you refills:)

    Help an overwhelmed dad out

Queen beds always win - and I'd go with a regular POP room - if you were going to upgrade, the AoA would be a better return, but not needed. Getting Gondolas is a good, as choices are always good. Dedicated busses are also very nice. For the cost of upgrading to a preferred room, upgrade a meal...

    Restaurants for the non-Disneyphile/Foodie

Yachtsman is definitely worth a look, if yall are into steak, anyway:), Cali Grill is great and I think you made the right choice with Jiko - that places is fantastic.

What are the best Resort TS restaurants?

Boma is so worth it - both for the food(and there's a wide enough variety that everyone will find something), the theming, and the chance to wander the hotel, check out the lobby and savannah. It's an amazing resort and well worth a trip.

Are you here right now? Port Orleans FQ

Definitely. The sound of crickets as you walk through the grounds at night, the carriages tromping along - it's a peaceful antidote to a loud day. The only reason we've stayed elsewhere is distance; finding rooms at Dolphin the same rate as POFQ and not having to get on a bus won us over, but...

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

That actually excites me - the Sorcerer's workshop was freaking cool, and my family and i spent an afternoon in that area having a blast. Epcot needs experiential things far more than rides.

    Impressed by Universal

The Royal Pacific was a great hotel for us - was very happy except for the restaurant, which being mostly empty seemed to give up. A great pool, good entertainment poolside, nice rooms, great staff otherwise. Potterland is brilliant - really great, just too small:) Where universal falls off...

Leaving a young child out of a Disney trip

Plan for a stroller - not everyday, but some days. Look at the 5 person rooms at Port Orleans and Caribbean, a little tight, but doable, and far cheaper than 2 rooms or a Art of Animation Suite. 6...6 is a really good age to appreciate a lot of what Disney has, really magic, and so long as you...
