Yachtsman, Le Cellier, Narcoosee's, and Fultons

Glad I found this thread! My wife and I are having a "date" night during our March trip. We have reservations at Narcoosee's already and we're hoping for a kid-free evening! LOL

    Favorite Disney Character

Couldn't narrow it down to one so, in no particular order: MICKEY Robin Hood Jack Skellington Mr. Incredible

    Guilty Pleasures at WDW

Does "enjoying the People Mover" qualify as a guilty pleasure? LOL I also have a thing for the Mickey ice cream bars.

It's October - Favorite 'Dead' Rides time!

I'll have to go with 20K. All time favorite of mine as a kid and a teenager. I only rode the Swan Boats once on my 1st trip ('79 or '80) but, it's one of those lasting memories I wish I could share with my kids.

Bob Iger: "‘We’ve got some pretty exciting things that we’ll be announcing over the next few months"

Really hoping that if & when this happens, Hollywood Studios gets the Star Wars love and not Magic Kingdom.

    Studio Ghibli

Ponyo is a good flick and a family favorite in our house. Did Disney only enter a distribution agreement with them or a partnership? I know John Lasseter was very involved in whatever agreement currently stands. I agree with an earlier post though. Disney needs to chill on the acquisitions and...

What are your Disney must-do things that you've never done?

My wife and I agree that our #1 thing to do at WDW is to one day go child-free! LOL

My friend proceeded to tell me WDW is only for little kids

Everyone knows I'm a big kid so, it never gets questioned when I rant about WDW or rock my Disney T's.

Which films aren't represented enough at WDW?

I'd go with Robin Hood and The Incredibles.

    "Rossen Reports" on Disney

The worst part for Disney is the fact that they are not the only park having issues with this. It happens with ALL theme parks. Unfortunately, when you're the top dog (or mouse) you also get the exposure (good & bad). Disney needs to lead the way though and come up with a legitimate way to...

    American Idol: On life support?

Seems like AIE is eating up a bunch of real estate that could be put to better use. Why not convert it into a "Jedi Temple" for the Jedi Training and expand around Star Tours?

Went to Busch Garden's today and it really made us appreciate DISNEY!

We've been to BG-Tampa few times and have found it to be a VERY family friendly park. I have to agree with the masses though, you can't compare Busch Gardens (or any other theme park) to Disney. Everyone can say what they want about the great Disney decline and so on but, Disney set (and...

What ride/attraction would go altogether and you wouldn't miss it

Totally agree! I had mentioned on another thread that this space could be used for more "Tomorrowland"-ish attractions (ie. TRON, John Carter, anything future or space themed).

What ride/attraction would go altogether and you wouldn't miss it

Tomorrowland Speedway, that's a headache and upset stomach I could have done without. The fumes killed me. Luckily, I aired out on Space Mountain shortly after! LOL

    Am I insane?

That's what we did on our last trip. I booked 2 meals prior to leaving for WDW, Princess lunch at Akershus and breakfast on a non-park day at 1900 Park Fare. I was amazed at how many great reservations we were able to make from our room by grabbing the phone and hitting the dining reservations...

What are some good resturants at some of the hotels?

The Roarin Fork at Wilderness Lodge is really good! Their breakfast is the best.

    Epcot Table Service Restaurants

Our kids are picky but, Akershus (Norway) has EXCELLENT food! I ate at the Coral Reef and Garden Grill years ago and they were really good. I've never heard anything bad about Le Cellier, only heard that their steaks are great!

Peter Pan queue? Did construction start yet?

Someone brought up IASW earlier. I thought they were supposed to revamp the outside facade to blend with Tangled and the FLE walls? As far as what everyone else has said, I agree that PPF's queue is in desperate need of a revamp. However, there's something about the 'lo-tech' effects in the ride...

    Morning Bus Service from Resorts

We had bus issues at Carribean Beach Resort. We were in the pirate themed rooms all the way in the back of the resort and busses were always full by the time they made it to our building. We lucked out one morning and a CM from transportation was there. He got on the radio (after 25 minutes and...
