Should we visit Kennedy Space Center?

Definitely would recommend Kennedy. I can confirm that the Shuttle Atlantis will be in the Vehicle Assembly Building during September according to their guest relations. Best to book ahead as I'm told space can be limited at peak times. There's plenty to do, talks by astronauts, Imax shows...

Doctor arrested for allegedly kicking son in face at Epcot

"I wouldn't kick my sons in the face for anything" said park guest John Cissio John Cissio everyone. Not a hero, Just an everyday dad!

    California Grill closing January 2013

I'm checking it out for the first time in September. I'll have to see if I like it more or less after the refurb. RSoxNo1, Yesterday at 6:48 PM #15 Me too. Hope it's not too dated. :)

    Villians....

Cool pics. This is what the parks are missing. Come on Disney, spice it up!

Does Hollywood Studios live up to its name?

Disney are missing the boat with DHS. This is the perfect place to have vintage characters unused in all the other parks. Disney makes movies, this place should be the most happening of all the parks but it just seems to be getting a little stale.

    What is meet by Magic?

I'm not really sure why someone would start this thread. If you don't like being somewhere so much, don't go. If you don't understand the atmosphere you probably never will. Just learn to loosen up and maybe you'll get it. As old as I get and as cynical as I am with so many other things in the...

    Villians....

They seem to be testing Gaston at Epcot and I've seen the Queen of Hearts a few times in MK but aside from that no others except in the parades and shows that is. Villains are cool and usually really funny. They get all the best scenes in the movies and the best lines. Shame we can't have more...

What Are You Most Looking Forward To??

Straight away dumping the cases at POR and heading to MK to get that being there feeling as you walk into Main Street.

    Unexpected Welcome Surprises

We gifted our spray/fan bottle to an extremely hot looking kid one day when we were leaving DHS. His need seemed greater. It's good to give.

    Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket appearance?

Indeed. Disney keep your back catalogue alive or the next time you try a rerelease of the classic films you may have bred a generation of adults who havent got those fond memories of these characters and therefore don't feel the need to buy them for their kids.

Casey Jr., Double Dumbo Unveiled !

You can post rules about not entering while you've got the runs and not drinking the water but lets not forget that this will probably go right over the heads of some kids and perhaps their parents. This recirculating time bomb for disease seems like a bad move. Disney lawyers at the ready. I...

    Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket appearance?

Such a shame if they're dumping these characters. There's a huge amount of charm seeing them in the parks. They don't get promotion in many other places outside the parks and to not have them amounts to their basic slow death. This must not be allowed, Disney listen to your conscience.

    Spectro Magic changes

For what it's worth Spectro wins for me. MSEP was such a let down, it seemed really dated in comparison. Don't ask me why, it just did. Maybe it was the music, too 80s.

    Disney vs childhood obesity

So Disney wants to promote healthy food. Are they going to remove all the unhealthy food from the parks? I doubt that. 90% empty shelves, not a chance. This is yet another empty corporate gesture to placate interest groups who say companies like this don't do enough. Oh well, I don't go on...

    LTT cuts it's operating hours

Personally I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. We went two years ago and both the food and service sucked. We had loads of ADRs and although some weren't spectacular we found that across the board they were good, except here where I actually found the food over seasoned and stodgy. My wife's...

Casey Jr., Double Dumbo Unveiled !

While this is a nice little addition it shows that Disney doesn't really count this too highly when they quietly open it to no fanfare while they're big time Disneyland expansion is opening. One big effort to open the whole Storybook Circus area and some hoopla is required. While it is nice to...

The reason you stay on property is?

Having spent time on and off site I would never go back to off site. As a foreigner, driving in the US is an extra task I can well do without and by staying at Disney this is minimised greatly. Like many other posters the magic feeling on site is bubble like and is very obviously missing when...

    New Country at Epcot?!?!?

Confirmation oh yes! I can confirm that Scotland IS coming to EPCOT this September but only for two weeks, then I have to go home.

    Hyperion Wharf: any news?

I've got a bad feeling about this! There must be a sickness running through the team in charge of DTD cause for the life of me I can't figure why there is such a lack of thought and inventiveness. Do they purposefully look for the dregs to run this arm of the empire? Ask them and we may be...
