Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

Rent them out or sell them back. At the price I paid years ago, I'll make a killing. But I don't WANT to do that BOB.

Chapek's comments - he doesn't want anyone on this board at WDW any more

I'm a very local superfan who has: DVC Annual Pass I go for two weeks every year - once in January and once in August/September. We eat at mostly TS and buy a decent amount of merchandise. Even with DVC, each week we go our bill is 2-3k. We also try to go once a month for a weekend day, in...

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

There are repercussions for a company speaking out against a law, just as their are repercussions for politicians going after the one of the largest companies in the world. Everyone, including us, loses in some fashion. I don't think there is much we can do except vote our conscious at the...

News Reedy Creek Improvement District and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District

Just a question I was wondering about, not taking a side. Is the corporate speech Disney made protected by the First Amendment under Citizens United? And would Desantis's actions constitute suppression of free speech? I know it was intended for elections and advertising, but would the same...

    Epcot-Garden Grill

I hope so as well. This used to be a tradition! It was a great place to meet Mickey and gang and wasn't usually over crowded.

Same here. We went end of September and wife and I had a table for 4 all to ourselves and several liters of beer.

    RUMOR: goodbye Tables in Wonderland

The markup for food and especially alcohol at WDW table service restaurants far exceeds the 20%. It encourages diners to go to TS and spend excess amounts of money to realize the "value". It'll be back, once things get back to normal. Whenever that will be!

    Biergarten Plan

Anyone know what they are going to do for Biergarten? Looks like it'll be open, and I was thinking about heading there for Sept trip. I'm assuming it'll be family style instead of buffet with no table sharing between groups? Anyone know for sure?

    Most Nostalgic Ride at Disney

Do you mean nostalgic as in "I remember riding this as a kid" (PeopleMover) or do you mean nostalgic as in "Ahhh....Walt created this wonderful thing" (COP)?

    First-world problem, I know, but...

Trust me. You'll love Poly. Let's put it this way, you won't dislike it.

Smart phones apps for WAIT TIMES

I use this one a lot (touring plans). Seems to be pretty accurate for me as far as actual wait times are concerned. I have to agree. The DL version of Touring Plans seemed a little off. Fortunately, it wasn't very busy when I was there so it wasn't too bad.

Smart phones while waiting in line....

I'm on my phone all the time. Doing Disney stuff. Like some other people here, I like to disconnect from the outside world. But I still use MDE, Touring Plans, and this site while i'm in the park in line. Why not?

    Is T-REX worth it?

Not worth it. Overpriced - but you are paying for the atmosphere. Service is meh...and food is somewhat boring. They kind of put "asauras" on everything (Guac-asaurus Burger, Pork-asaurus Sandwich, Caesar-saurus Salad) and call it unique. It's not. It's a burger or a pork sandwich or a...

Adventureland Veranda - Skipper Canteen restaurant

Well I wouldn't call it a "radical" change. Unless changing menu item names and a few tweaks is considered radical.
