Saw the entire Honey Boo Boo clan last Wednesday as well, walking through Italy in World Showcase. Nobody was in a stroller or on an ECV purely for convenience...there may be hope for civilization yet. ;)
Thank you all for the feedback. I've always done online check-in in the past for convenience. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't shooting myself in the foot by doing so. Considering I'll have a 14-month-old in tow, (yikes) I'll probably want to at least TRY to make my wait as short as possible...
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but my search didn't turn up anything relevant.
We arrive at WL next Monday (woo hoo!) Are there any drawbacks to checking in online ahead of time? I know it saves time, but will it prevent any kind of surprise room upgrade? Or does that kind of...
@Britt, thanks for your suggestion above! I have been stroller shopping FOREVER, and have finally decided on a First Years Ignite thanks to your post. My husband and I are freakishly tall, and apparently this stroller works well for us ogres. ;)
Tangerine Cafe is a favorite spot for me, vegetarian or no. I found the most in-park options at Epcot. If you google "vegetarian Disney" or "vegan Disney" there are multiple blogs and websites that are very detailed.
Our 7-year-old came out with some doozies on our trip two years ago, with some of the best non-sequiturs during a long lunch at CHH.
"Are grown ups' pajamas just old clothes?"
"How can a snowman ice skate if it's not real?"
"How do you spell 'E'?"
"Do fairies have cars?"

Don't know if anyone has posted this yet (as I haven't read all the posts in this thread yet,) but I received a LONG survey yesterday from Disney asking how much money our household has spent on character merchandise. In addition to Mickey and co. and the princesses and fairies, they...
December 2010-the week between Christmas and New Years. On the 27th we got to AK long before rope drop, and we were so cold we almost couldn't stand it. My husband was giving me the death glare as we hugged the children for warmth. We dragged the kids on Dinosaur (and told them to close their...
It's Storytime with Belle, not Speed Dating with Belle. I never expected this to cater to adults, since it didn't in its previous form. I'll skip it unless the kids are with me, just like I skip the Speedway in lieu of driving a real car. The technology looks amazing-it's quite the meet and greet.
I immediately made the dementia connection when it was announced and thought, "my, that's an unfortunate word choice." Am quite surprised something was not said about this before now.
Most of the time I'm pretty unflappable when it comes to Disney visits, and we've been pretty lucky to avoid anything major happening. However, two things that happened last December managed to get under my skin for an hour or two.
One late afternoon in DAK, we were being herded into our...
Consider things like COP, TTA, Ellen, and The American Adventure as your "nap times" for the kids.
The only time we encountered something that came close to a kiddie meltdown is the day I thought we could squeeze in a "couple more attractions" in Epcot after dinner because the kids were doing...
