    Thanks for clearing that up.

    Disrespecting the parks

I'm no longer surprised by the arrogance, entitlement and stupidity displayed by people, both children and adults anywhere in public.

Where do you see the crowds in two weeks?

I'm curious. Where did you get your information that only 10% of the current WDW visitors are from Florida?

    masks with special needs

We all know all people won't wear masks. Driving the numbers down isn't eliminating the virus and until there is a successful and widely distributed vaccine, you can expect to be wearing masks in most, if not all public settings.

Suggest a new name for the W. Redskins

This could complicate the name change for a while. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/14/us/washington-nfl-trademark-spt-trnd/index.html

    masks with special needs

Based on this, you're assumption does not look like a good bet. Trish Greenhalgh, a primary-care professor at the University of Oxford, told me people should wear masks in public until “there are no new cases, or very few cases,” a goal that the U.S. is still very far from reaching.

In what ways will COVID-19 change how you vacation at Disney?

Moves it to late 2021 or maybe even 2022.

    When will you return?

Would like to see some type of wide spread vaccine use from a health perspective. From a WDW perspective, not until park hopping becomes available again, all rides and attractions are open (except for refurbishments), all in-world transportation is open and all hotels are available. I'm hoping...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

That's why I asked about the temperature. Many of those are allergy symptoms, with the exception of vomiting. I've had severe seasonal allergies all my life and never it did make me vomit.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Disney is private property. They can ask anyone to leave at any time. Did she have a temperature over 100? If so, that alone is enough to escort her from the park. If Guest Services is aware of this, the park is now complicit in spreading the virus to other cast members and customers.

    Splash Mountain Merchandise

Splash has always been my favorite ride. Right now on e-bay" 2,274 results for splash mountain Right now I'm sitting here with a coffee cup (It's a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day)that has the identical one listed on ebay for $179.99 (pre-owned). It was a gift from one of my daughter's so I'm pretty...

What Defined the Decade at WDW?

Overcrowding, excessive price increases in all areas, lack of maintenance, over building of resorts and DVCs, budget cuts, and staff reductions. Oh yeah and they put a few new attractions in Animal Kingdom and the Studios. Shareholders and Senior Management made out like bandits.

    FOP 6+ hour wait times

We've not been to WDW since Avatar opened, so I have no experience with a 3-6 hour wait. Is there an organized/approved way of going to the bathroom during that wait without being accused of line jumping?

Prices for a family of four

True to a point. However, Real Estate taxes can and do go up, utilities costs go up, the cost of groceries and clothing goes up. Medical costs for people that need them have gone up significantly more than 3%. I got a 3% raise last year and with the increase in Heath Insurance Premiums, my take...

Prices for a family of four

Actually, yes. It was the GF. We have a family of 5 adults, including a developmentally and physically disabled person so our travel needs are a bit different than a lot of families. That number included 5 round trip air fares from Chicago, 2 rooms at the GF, a week's SUV rental to handle his...

Guest allegedly points gun at another guest in WDW Parking Lot

We can agree that it is stupid, but yet it happened. Someone is Tampa was shot for using a cell phone in a movie theater not that long ago. Road rage, parking lot rage, any type of rage seems to be more prevalent lately and there are a lot of gun owners out there.

Guest allegedly points gun at another guest in WDW Parking Lot

In at least 15 or more visits to the AK, at various times of the day, I've never seen a Castmember directing cars into specific spaces. In fact, I've never seen anyone doing that at any of the parks. Usually, someone near the front says follow the blue line and we're on our own.

Prices for a family of four

We have a serious problem with it. The prices overall at WDW have escalated sharply over the last several years We went from 7-8 days every year to 5-6 days every other year to not going at all since 2015. It's a totally financial decision. When the totally cost of 6 days, including air fare...

    The Grand Floridian worth it?

What Disney charges for Monorail resorts is really steep for most people. With 5 adults, we need two rooms which doubles the cost, so again worth is relative. We have been fortunate to stay at the GF. My wife liked it a lot. The service was incredible from the greeter at the front door to the...
