I wouldn't expect actual parade taping this year...considering the tree is in place. That said, they could go for a new camera angle.

I am saddened by the suggested loss of the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland. Mickey and the Magical Map is one of the best Disney shows I've seen! They would do a better job routing the train track a bit further into Toon Town. There's a few things behind it that aren't even used anymore...

I know they won't move them to Disney Springs, but I'm sure the retailers there would love the extra guests. It would bring in a lot more revenue to Disney Springs without question. And it's a better fit than World Showcase. They could truly move it to a large warehouse and people would go...

It's an interactive game, similar in nature to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. It's meant for any age.

Doubling factor? As a whole the Disneyland Resort has more rides than WDW I believe?

Actually, it's not that much. Think about everything that has closed so far and that only four rides will replace it. Cars Land alone brought three new rides to DCA...

Lee: do you think Disneyland will get a full Tomorrowland revamp due to this? I'm imagining Star Tours will either be relocated to new land or replaced by something Marvel? It's hard to think they wouldn't clean that area up as part of this...

I hope not! Blue Bayou in Disneyland creates a perfect atmosphere without alcohol. BUT, you can purchase a lemonade that mixes quite well with any "water" that you might bring.

Ummm...not sure if you have the right site! Theme Park Insider has consistently said that Universal would not release the east coast rights to Marvel. That site has proven to be reliable time and again.

Here's an idea. It's far fetched, but what the heck. Why don't we petition Ellen and Bill Nye on change.org for them to invest and push for a refurb? Having their reputation attached to a very outdated ride is likely not the highlight of their careers... Thoughts?

My apologies for not clarifying. On a ride to land usage basis, Disneyland excels. Note, i'm speaking strictly of rides and not attractions. I personally enjoy all that is offered, but there will be those that focus on just rides. Thanks for your response!

I'm interested in seeing what our insiders think about the total ride count at SDL? It seems very light for a Park of this size. Given that it is in China, I would have expected more. I am sure the Chinese are aware of what TDL has. We also know that Hong Kong was ride light when it opened...
