News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I really don’t see them filling in the river, The River Boat fits too much into a New Orleans theme. I can see the layout changing a little but the removal of the attraction or making it as short as people are saying just doesn’t seem like the direction they are headed.

Rank the 9 roller coasters at Walt Disney World

Very difficult and close decision. 1 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 2 Expedition Everest 3 Rock 'n' Roller Coaster 4 Space Mountain I had to really think about this and can easily change my choices.

News Disney plans to accelerate Parks investment to $60 billion over 10 years

I laugh at some of the post that are heated about “ONLY” 17 billion for WDW. Let’s put 17 billion in perspective. You can build: 2 to 5 - Epic Universe(s) (depending on who you ask and final total) 17 - Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge(s) 20+ - Pandora - The World of Avatar(s) 20+ - Fantasyland...

News Walt Disney Company plans to spend $17 billion at Walt Disney World over the next ten years

I don't understand why we are spending so much time talking about Disney+. Are we. really looking at this number 17 billion. This enough to build TRON, Guardians, Makeover of World Showcase, Remy's Ratatouille, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Toy Story Land, Skyliner, Galaxy's Edge...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I'm not saying they are going to build this layout, I actually don’t like the current ideas they proposed. The Blue Sky concept is just an idea, and I understand that. I'm just saying they are not worrying about Universal and they know the park needs capacity. They are literally turning people...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I really don’t think Disney is worrying about Universal, this whole Blue Sky thing is more about Disney increasing MK capacity than a response to Universal 3rd gate. Currently Disney is limiting people from entering the park so any guest Universal takes away is not hurting the bottom line as...

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

I agree 100%. The whole Blue Sky Concept is just what they were thinking. We may not see nothing and hear nothing more of it or it could become a project in the future. Bottom line here they made nothing seem like something.

opinion on 1/2 hour early vs 1-2 hour late.

Rather than continue in this mess out they should just go back to how it was. I don’t really like to get up early in the morning while on VACATION to get into a park and be first in a ride line.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train vs Space Mountain

This is a ver though choice, but I had to go with which one I can’t leave the park without riding. I’m not from Florida so I can’t go all the time so when I do go to MK. I can not leave without riding Space Mountain. Maybe it just a classic but I just have to get a ride on SM before I leave.

Space Mountain vs Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

Very tough and difficult decision....?? Today I chose Rock-N-Roll because of the thrill level but Tomorrow It might be Space Mountain for the nostalgia. I like both rides and put them on my MUST DO list, but I like each of them for different reasons.

Is the “Magic” Disappearing at Walt Disney world

I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but it seems that Disney is slowly taking away some of the “Magic” while staying at Disney. I know some items will return but some things seem to be gone for good. Free Parking Magic Bands (At least the free ones when arriving at Disney Hotel) Magical...

So with these changes, this makes staying at a Disney Resort a real choice now. At the $$$ spent at Disney I could use at a very nice Airbnb.
