Should we have an Official 'Halloween Horror Nights 25' thread

I didn't go into Diagon on SAT but I recall seeing one of the electronics signs showing the ride at 20 minutes around 8:30 PM

Should we have an Official 'Halloween Horror Nights 25' thread

I do not know the answer, but last time we were there, Cowfish has an APP that will let you make a reservation (or maybe more like your place in line) while you are in the area, so it might be possible to check while you are in the park if you have a smart phone.

Park to Park, Potter to Potter

Will you have early entry? If you do, it is best to try and go to the early entry park 1st. If you do not have early entry, that's ok. I think a lot of folks like to go Diagon first for it's more like the movies to experience the London side first and then travel to Hogwarts. Both main rides...

Should we have an Official 'Halloween Horror Nights 25' thread

I know folks are saying that Saturday nights are crowded, but last year, we went the four nights of the second week and we felt that Saturday night was the most pleasant of the four (generally due to the crowd size). It did start off crowded as there was a pass holder event that night, but it...

Quiet Spots in US and IOA

I probably should have said the path to the Hard Rock Hotel as I tend to forget about the Café. Anyway, I believe this is the first spot when heading to the Hotel from the studios:

Quiet Spots in US and IOA

If your at the studios and don't mind leaving the park, there are some quiet spots along the walking path to the Hard Rock that might be about the same distance as the walk to the City Walk boat doc.

    Tables in Wonderland being discontinued?

Just wanted to comment on the 10% discount that came w/ the AP. I admit I haven't been a pass holder in some time, but I learned after eating at T-Rex that you need to pay attention to the fine print as the discount was only on the adult entree. When we ate there, my spouse chose to eat two...

MagicBands to be used in place of parking permit paperwork for resort guests

Next time you go to the MK, look back after passing the parking toll booths, you will see a camera in each lane around the height of where most cars have a license plate...then maybe ask yourself "how in the heck did they find that kid whose parent w/o legal custody kidnapped them and took them...

'Villains Unleashed' hard ticketed event coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in August

In a lot of ways I agree with you, but what I do not get is why they would sell child price tickets. I just think an easy way to let folks know it is an event at Disney NOT geared for children is to not offer a child's ticket.

    The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

Yep, Nikko has a restaurant (Rock n Roll Ribs) in Coconut Creek, Fl. I've enjoyed the food there the handful of times I've been and I have seen Nikko there a couple of times. Seemed really nice when we've talked to him there.

    American Idol Experience To Close

Maybe closing AIE now has more to do with the fact that ABC is doing their own singing show so maybe they wanted to pull back from promoting American Idol.

    TWDC Earnings

Does accommodate really equate to capacity? His job is to spin everything in a positive light. Since he was talking about MM+, and I think Parentsof4 mentioned something along these lines, I think that he was talking about FP+ in a context that during the holiday rush, they gave out FastPasses...

    Fastpass Plus Mess

There is a little more to what UNI does (if trying to compare to Disney). If you by a package deal with UNI at one of their partner (or maybe it is neighbor) hotels, it includes the early entry they give their Deluxe resorts. I believe their new hotel will include early entry as well. Forbidden...

Out of control WDW ticket prices

WDW's price increases pushed me out when they took away the child's price for a FL resident pass. The 'regular' increase on top of the jump for her ticket caused me to determine it was no longer a good enough value for my family. So I do believe their ticket prices are out of control. But, I do...

Rapid Fill Mug Program Fails (at more ways than you might think)

I am sure Disney would say the offer of free refills for life was the for the life of the mug and that the life of the mug was 5 years...

Rapid Fill Mug Program Fails (at more ways than you might think)

I use the term soda. Down here (when ordering) diet, it tends to mean Diet Coke. Pretty sure I was somewhere in the SW when I ordered a 'diet' and was surprised when they brought me a Diet Dr. Pepper.

Rapid Fill Mug Program Fails (at more ways than you might think)

So what happens with this business model when guest staying at a resort that are on the dinning plan realize they get a drink included with each meal (on top of the mug for free refills)? Imagine guest start to realize Rapid Fill isn't working so great, the realize they wait in line for food...

Is the price of staying on the monorail loop worth it?

If the bus really bothers you, I imagine you can take a cab for far less than 2K. My family can handle the bus. Pretty sure the last time I stayed at PORS, from the MK, the run a separate bus to POFQ, one night the line was long for the Riverside bus, the FQ bus showed up and there was no one...

Paranoid Parent in Need of Advice Please...

You and your wife will know your daughter better than anyone. We only have have one child (she is 8 now). I thought we would wait until she was older, but when she was 11 months old, we were given a week at a time share near Sea World, so we gave it a go. As others have said, the baby care...
