Grizzly Peak isn't the icon of Disney California Adventure, the Carthay Circle Theater is. The two parks are suffering similar identity crises. DCA has many weenies that can be seen and used as icons (Carthay Circle Theater, Grizzly Peak, Tower of Terror, Mickey's Fun Wheel, Cadillac Range...

It worked for a while. Both Disney and Universal created the parks in Florida with intent of being real working studios. Both had many years of success and both opened with studio tours. Universal's closed way early in 1995. Slowly Universal Studios Florida lost most of it's production. They...

It is true, but RSR does fit. It had attractions based on films and shows since day one, so why wouldn't such an attraction fit nearly 25 years later?

Although aspects of various locations along Route 66 made it into Radiator Springs, the town most closely resembles Peach Springs... Arizona.
