    Party for the Senses Questions

For anyone who has been to the Party for the Senses, is there a dress code for this event? How are people generally dressed for this event? Also any advice on how to maneuver the event would be great. I know there aren't very many chairs and tables for everyone. I almost decided not to go...

Mickey's Not So Scary HP/Main Street Electrical Parade

Not sure if this is the correct location for this question. Looking at the Walt Disney World.com calendar I noticed a date in late October when the Halloween Party is being held and they have the Main Street Electrical Parade scheduled to play at 11 p.m. that night. However, I haven't come...

    Wheelchairs at WDW

Leaving to WDW later this week and quite excited, but also a bit nervous. This is the first time I've been back to WDW with my parents in over 15 years. My mom is now 80 and although she insists she doesn't need a wheelchair, the reality is she will need one for most of the day. This is my...

    Economy does in Fantasyland

This article if true is quite sad. I just returned from DL 2 weeks ago and their Fantasyland is breathtaking, not to mention their Toon Town. There is so much attention to detail throughout Fantasyland and they really seem to take care of their attractions there. My only one complaint was I...

    SanFrancisco & Worldofsounds TRIP REPORT 9/8/08 - 9/15/08

Awesome trip report! Interestingly enough, while you and your partner were in FL, I was over in CA visiting san fran, napa and DL!

    Disneyland Trip Planner

Hi there! I'm a WDW veteran and I just returned from my first DL trip yesterday. I spent 4 nights at the Anabella and 3 full days in the park. As someone said below don't compare WDW to DL two completely different things. First off let me answer your questions. 1. The only benefit I can see...

    Disney responds to Fastpass question

TO SBKLINE: AWESOME POSTS!! Between your post with the bible story and this recent one about your brother you nailed it! Both posts perfectly sum up what so many of us on these boards have wanted to say on all these threads about fastpasses, pool hopping, kids hovering around the age of 3...

Trip Report July 26 through August 8, 2008

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us all! Very thoughtful trip report! Thanks. I had a similar experience with my stay at the Contemporary back in 2006. We had an MK Tower view and absolutely loved the room, even the bathrooms. But the resort as a whole left something...

Which is worse: Pool hopping, using FPs outside the time window, ...

Check out this question and answer from Anita Answers on AllEars.net re: fast pass use outside of the window. http://allears.net/aa/aa081108.htm#ques2 This has always been my understanding of the issue as well.

    Disney revises guns-to-work policy (myFOXOrlando)

Well, when you think someone's opinion is wrong, sure...go ahead and state your response. But when you respond by lobbing an insult you are being nasty and you are bashing someone. Plus not sure where you (or anyone for that matter) would get the gaul to call anyone's opinion on this issue...

    Disney revises guns-to-work policy (myFOXOrlando)

This thread is now going on 9 pages and it is just a rehash of prior arguments from months past. Disney has not...repeat has not...changed their no guns at work policy with respect to the WDW property. The rule change was only about property off of WDW property. This thread is getting...

Which is worse: Pool hopping, using FPs outside the time window, ...

Totally agree with you. I'm guilty of doing some minor pool hopping on a vacation a few years back. I think it was over Labor Day of 2002. We were staying POFQ and had lunch on 2 separate days at the Coronado and AK Lodge. After lunch both times we took a dip in each pool. We made a point...

    Disney revises guns-to-work policy (myFOXOrlando)

Ummm I don't know. Maybe its a guess...but just maybe because this is the United States of America and the Constitution grants us the right to challenge any law in Court we feel violates our rights as citizens. I don't know just guessing. :brick:

Trip Report July 26 through August 8, 2008

Loving your trip report and the pics! Although I only visit Universal every few years (and not a big Universal park fan), I have to say you make some great points about Universal as opposed to WDW. I stayed at Universal in 2004 at the Royal Pacific and loved my stay there. Nothing beats being...

    Coronado Rehabs

I'm a bit confused between your post and Belle's. So is your friend saying that all rooms are getting Queen size beds or only the new Club level rooms?

    Coronado Rehabs

Thats great news! I know I'm in the minority but I love CSR. I enjoyed my stay there far more than my stays at the Yatch/Beach Club and Port Orleans RS/FQ.

    Heads up on Aquatica

Thanks for the heads up and advice! Wow! Man that is busy! Its part of my niece's bday gift/vacation. I was disappointed I wasn't going but now I'm so glad i'm not going.

    Heads up on Aquatica

Anyone know how what the crowds have been like at Aquatica this summer? Have family members going in early August and they're wondering what time they should show up at the park.

    Nice Disney Smells

Ok..this is probably a bit weird. In the early through at least late 80s, Disney shopping bags were made out of some kind of coated paper and they had the greatest scent. I remember I would collect them, as the designs would often change, and they maintained their scent for years.

Disney doesn't allow guns at work!

We're getting so off topic here... Back to the issue of whether Disney should or can tell its employees to not bring their guns to work in the cars. Based solely on the law as written Disney is well within their rights to forbid their employees from doing so as they qualify for that waiver...
