    August Park Hours

Dining Reservations hasn't figured it out yet. Latest seating for MGM restaurants is still 5PM despite MGM being open until 10PM. Somebody hasn't checked the schedule yet.

    August Park Hours

I am waiting as well. I've called CRO but they are no help.

    November 2005.

When does the Thanksgiving crowd ramp up? I'm thinking about going the weekend before (Nov 18/19/20) I would imagine it would start to get busy the weekend before. Since Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, people can take 3 days off (M/T/Wed) and then get a "whole week off" since most places...

Inside the Magic - a new Orlando-Based Disney Podcast!

I've been interested in trying one of these out. This should be a good one for getting started. Can't you do "music" podcasts as well?

    WDW Deja Vu

Has to be a combination of factors. Bright sunny day with a blue sky and a few wispy clouds, right combination of humidity (hard to measure but you know it when you feel/smell it in the air) and early morning because I’m always up first thing to head out to the parks. That “magical” combination...

    June Extra Magic Hours!

That's great! I've never stayed after 5PM at Animal Kingdom. Experiencing that park after dark should make it a different experience. I've never stayed very late (after 8PM) at Studios either and it'll be fun to "stay up" late at Epcot after Illuminations.

    June Extra Magic Hours!

Can we expect these to continue year round? When they did early AM open only, it was year round. I'm looking to go in August and want the evening options too!

    Best Deluxe Resort

At your age, you'll want to be closer to Epcot and MGM/Studios than the Magic Kingdom. I'd go Yacht/Beach Club because they have a great pool and you can walk to Epcot and take a boat to MGM. Bus to Downtown Disney isn't good. Takes too long. Contemporary is great because you can walk to...

    Tom Sawyers Island

Worth a short trip. You can get ice cream at Aunt Poly's. The fort and barrel bridges are fun. They have some underground caverns that are fun to walk thru. You can sit and play checkers in the fort. Gets you away from the "maddening" crowd when the park is jammed packed. With all that said...

Walt Disney World Golf Adds GPS System to Carts

That's a great addition. You know exactly how far you are from the pin as well as the location of the other golfers around you. I've even had them warn me when I was approaching a street. I know of some nice private courses that don't want to spend the money on the upgrade. Nice to see Disney...

Looks like evening EMH will be returning in 2005

You'd be able to get IN if you show your park hopper ticket and resort ID. I am sure you will be able to get in even "after regular closing time" with the same ID. You could get into Eride after park close with the right ID as well. They won't kick anyone out of the "late" night park but...

Looks like evening EMH will be returning in 2005

I am so fired up about this. I probably wasn't going to return for a while but this makes me want to plan a spring trip. I can't wait to stay up late at Animal Kingdom, Studio, Epcot. My kids LOVE Eride night at Magic Kingdom so they'll love this as well.

Evening Extra Magic Hours to Return

I am super excited about this. Being able to hang out later in the parks in the evening will be great. Especially excited about Animal Kingdom being open late. Sure to have a great vibe at night.

    Mousketeer Clubhouse?

We have kids with a wide age range. My wife and I wanted to take our high school age child out to Epcot for a nice "adult" evening with both of us. We had our 2 elementary age children spend a few hours in the Contemporary "babysitter" club. Worked out well for everyone.

    Breakfast Opinions Needed

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club has a fun breakfast. Goofy and Minnie are dressed in old time bathing style outfits. Good general breakfast food and nice "Beach" style surroundings. Wouldn't go out of your way for it but if staying in the MGM/Epcot area, worth a stop.

little montage of a few scenes from WDW

Can you upload it to usenet? alt.binaries.multimedia.disney? Its only available for a short period of time, depending on your providers retention time (days to weeks) but that gets around the bandwidth issue. Its on the server and anyone can download it and it only counts against their...

    Pin Sharks

Pin trading at WDW is purely for fun. My kids don't "collect". Except that they'd look for characters they liked. As to being polite to adults, its the "job" of parents to teach children manners. That failure is a direct reflection of the parents deficiency, not necessarily the children's.

    Pin Sharks

Pin trading with CMs have provided invaluable life lessons for my kids. I bought a bunch (40+) inexpensive pins from a DisneyStore for around $1.50 a piece. Each kid got about 20 to trade on our WDW trip. It taught my children to approach adults respectively, wait patiently and learn how...

Evening Extra Magic Hours...any new info?

I don't think summer E ride nights are a replacement for evening extra magic hour. The extra magic hour they tested out applied to ALL parks; some in the am and some in the evening. E ride is only on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom. As well, the Not So Scary and Christmas Parties are only...

Walking between Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios

I like taking the boat. If you aren't in a hurry, that's a fun ride but its slower than walking, mostly because of the Yacht/Beach/Swan-Dolphin stops.
