You mean the AA figure that won't be seen by guests in the FP line? That's a good start. The "best thing about the attraction" isn't even visible for a large percentage of guests. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

Then why not have standby and FP merge BEFORE they get to Potato Head? Just like Soarin's FP and standby merge well before the loading point. The same thing could have been done here so that EVERY guest got to at least SEE Potato Head in action even if each guest didn't interact with him...

Everest's standby line doesn't have any compelling differences than the FP line. It's more extensive, but it's really more of the same type of detailing that you find in the FP line. They could have designed the queue differently so that everyone got to interact with the AA, or they could...

To me "soft opening" isn't synonymous with "not finished." I always thought of soft openings as technical rehearsals, implying that all the parts are there and everything might or might not work according to plan. But with SSE things are still being added months after the official reopening...
