Most visited theme parks in the world-Magic Kingdom is #1 on the list!

I agree. In fact, I have to admit I'm somewhat skeptical about this list. For one thing, everyone knows that Disney doesn't release their attendance figures, so I'm wondering how the list could be as accurate and precise as they're presenting it to be. Also, who is this organization anyway...

    If You Could...

How 'bout a ride based on those pirate movies they put out! Oh wait....

Has Anyone read..... I need advice

So you've already ordered it and now you're asking what people think of it?? Hmmm...I probably would have asked for opinions BEFORE ordering. The good news, though, is I've read it and yes, it's pretty good. Depending on how much of a WDW fan you are, you may find a lot of it is stuff...

HELP!! My daughter is at Disney, what water park is better?

Typhoon Lagoon has better theming and I love that it's so lush and green. Blizzard Beach has much better rides though. More exciting and thrilling. For a 15-year-old, I would guess BB would be the better choice.

Magically Manipulated Picture Of The Day

I agree and same here. Based on the way BrennaRN posed the question, I didn't get the impression she was looking for such a complex method of doing it.

Magically Manipulated Picture Of The Day

It's easy to do. A little overdone and gimmicky these days, but I have to admit, I still have fun and enjoy doing it. I use Photoshop. I'm sure there are other ways of doing it, but here's basically how I do it: After you open the picture you want to manipulate, convert it to black and white...

    WDW Google Earth Secrets?!?

Those sounds like mistakes, not secrets.

I'm Thinking of Doing a WDW Video Podcast.

I think that's a great idea! I have to say, I haven't been overly blown away by most of the Disney-related podcasts that I've downloaded. So the more that are out there, maybe the better the choices will become. Good luck!

    George Lucas Update

I always thought it would be cool if they kept the simulators for Star Tours, but made it so that each simulator had it's own adventure. That way they could have it so that it's more like an airport where you actually choose your destination.

    $4 a gallon... we aren't going...

I'm going in a few weeks (flying) and I'm really fortunate because we booked the trip before the airfares started jumping. Of course, the rental car will cost more than expected, due to the gas price. But we're just going to minimize our driving. If I were you, I would maybe look at other...

Why is Epcot where it is?

It's one of my favorite videos of Walt footage. What a great historical document!

Why is Epcot where it is?

If you have never seen this video, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9M3pKsrcc8 It is of Walt explaining the original plan for Epcot.

    What is a podcast?

They're not just audio. There are tons of video podcasts available, including a whole lot of Disney related ones. Just go to iTunes and do a search on Disney.

    Question re: Comedy Warehouse

At the end of every show at the Comedy Warehouse, as the audience is exiting, there is a voiceover playing that is hilarious. It's basically just a collection of a lot of common phrases and disclaimers that we hear on commercials and read on labels and things. Stuff like, "Member FDIC" &...

    Which park is better?

Couldn't have said it better myself! Using the logic many people have described here, it would be just as possible to see any two Disney parks in one day as it would be to see the Universal parks... especially if the two Disney parks in question were as close to each other as the Universal...

    Which park is better?

Islands of Adventure is "almost all roller coasters"???? Universal has "a few" roller coasters??? Have you ever even been to these parks?? :hammer: IOA has 4 roller coasters total (that's if you count Dueling Dragons as 2 separate coasters). 1 of which is a kids' coaster. Universal has 2...

An ex-Jack Sparrow spills on life at the Magic Kingdom

I agree. In fact, he seems to kind of portray himself as a victim of...what did he call them? "Nazis in mouse ears" or something to that effect? But it sounds like he was intentionally violating rules right and left just because he felt like it or didn't agree with the rules. Someone should...

Everyday Places That Remind You Of WDW

It is so funny that someone started this thread, because I just had an experience this past week that I was going to start a thread about... My girlfriend and I went to Alaska and while we were waiting to board our plane in Anchorage, we went to the Alaska Airlines club member area (they call...

    Boardwalk, whats the deal?

I'm right there with you on that one! That's why I was questioning someone else's assessment of Boardwalk as "amazing". Nice, yes. "Amazing"?? That seems a tad extreme of a word to use to describe Boardwalk. I think anyone going there expecting something "amazing" is in for a huge letdown...

When was the last Imagineer "break-through?"

I actually wouldn't even go so far as to describe Everest as "stunningly themed". I think it's a somewhat overrated attraction on almost every level...The coaster is nothing spectacular, the "theming" is actually pretty sparse when you think about (really, how much is there truly to look at on...
