News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Because of the closure our AP’s were extended to end of August. We have a DVC stay booked for 12/2-12/8. Will we need to renew our AP‘s before making a reservation? Are they even allowing renewals or just new purchases?

April and June UYs Extended for 2020

Does the "not extending the life of our expiring developer points" mean that more inventory will open up at Riviera and Aulani?

Festival of the Arts dining package - necessary?

We’re heading down for a long weekend next weekend and are interested in catching one of the Disney on Broadway concerts at Epcot. We currently have a lunch package but am wondering if it’s necessary. I know for the Candlelight Procession a dining package is a must, but are the concerts during...

Current WiFi Coverage & Quality In Parks & Resorts

Stayed at AS Movies last December in building 6 (Love Bug) and my room was at the end of the building and the wifi was non-existent. Complained a couple of times and just got a shrug. Noticeably better at the MK resorts as of late, and I was able to use my VPN to get some work done. Best was...

    Saratoga springs Refurb Video

Is there a list anywhere of which buildings have been updated? I know that some Congress Park buildings were the first to be done - is it that section entirely complete? Willing to book preferred, but want to try and make sure we get a refurbed room. Thanks!

Excited for the Poly!!!! ALOT of questions though..help!

Agree with most things that others have said. The Polynesian is our home DVC resort and we love it. Make sure you check out the nightly torch lighting ceremony, and get up early one morning to watch the sunrise from the beach - it's absolutely stunning. It's beautiful at Christmas, they have...

News Major Hurricane Dorian impacts to Walt Disney World 2019

Do you think that now there's a state of emergency, Disney will issue cancellation waivers? We're flying in on Friday morning and supposed to head out on Tuesday. I'm not worried about getting there, it's getting home.

Fall 2019 Passholder giveaways and offers at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot

I wondered about this, too. Is it 4 separate days or 4 separate tap ins. We’ll only be able to go 3 days, unless leaving at mid-day to go back to the hotel for pool time and coming back in the evening for dinner/illuminations counts as 2 visits. Anyone know or have experience?

    Early Morning Magic Experience

Thanks - was breakfast at Backlot Express? And assume that as long as you're there by 9:50am or so you'll still get to eat? We're trying to do the morning at DHS (have fastpasses for MK later in the afternoon), and then head out after breakfast.

    Early Morning Magic Experience

We're doing EMM at DHS on May 6. Any idea where the breakfast has moved to since ABC Commissary is closed? Website just says "a select quick-service dining location outside of Toy Story Land". Want to do Tower of Terror at rope drop but make sure we still get to breakfast before 10am.

Chair sleeper and bunk bed at Aulani

If it's the same sleeper chair as in BLT, I've slept on it before. I'm 5'9 and didn't have any problem. I'd say it's about the size/length of a twin bed. I'm in my mid-30's and if we do a family trip in 2br I'm usually relegated to the living room (which I don't mind) and thought the chair, and...

My Disney Experience system status and outages watch

Looks like it's down today. I've been trying since 7am and I've had spotty service, and entire stay isn't linked. I'm also on hold and at 7:03am was quoted a 60+ minute wait.

    Disneyland Half Marathon

Even though it's supposed to be hot, they probably won't cancel, right? I was signed up for the half at WDW in January that ended up being cancelled due to weather, I don't think they'd do that twice in a year...

    Disneyland Half Marathon

Completely missed the proof of time and I'm in the last corral. Any idea when I might expect to cross the start? 5:45? 6? I've never been that far back (usually in the middle around E/F), I imagine it'll be pretty crowded. Do they do the waived starts in the corral like they did at WDW in January?
