    Rumors. Musings. Casual.

Sometimes the artists and designers want to do more unique merchandise, but whoever is in charge tells them no. Have to play it safe and sell more princess/Mickey/Stitch/Pooh.

    Rumors. Musings. Casual.

I don't like the virtual queue, because it seems like I'm waiting 2 different times (virtual and standby) and I'd prefer to know an estimate of the total time. My preference is not waiting in any line longer than 40 minutes. Last time I went to Epcot, I missed the first VQ for Cosmic Rewind and...

    Best 3D/4D Film

Muppets is my favorite. I love the jokes, that it has animatronics and a live performer involved, there are no obnoxious smells, and nothing poking at me from the seat. It's really cute. I also love that the waiting room has a lot of hidden references.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

They don't have much for children either. I think all of the 50th merchandise was for adults. All I remember was the 2 expensive figures, a $50 mug, and the adult shirt.

There is so much good merchandise they could make and don't.

What’s your favorite Epcot Attraction with Disney IP?

Huge Beauty and the Beast fan, but this needs to go away. It reminds me of those bonus features on dvds and is ridiculously bad. Can we get a Beauty and the Beast ride somewhere in WDW instead? I vote for Gran Fiesta Tour.

Once Upon a Studio short film - missing characters

He's the closest to 100 years old out of any of them. I think he's 101.

Once Upon a Studio short film - missing characters

The secretary bird from Bedknobs and Broomsticks is also in the final photo. He is standing next to Yen Sid.

Once Upon a Studio short film - missing characters

There were some I didn't recognize either, but turns out they were from newer shorts and movies I haven't seen. It's understandable they wouldn't be able to have everyone, but it is a little sad to see some characters, like the brers, omitted.

Once Upon a Studio short film - missing characters

Adding to the list: - Julius the cat - Toby Tortoise and Max Hare - Pablo the penguin and Aracuan bird from The Three Caballeros - Lulu Belle (they had Bongo) and Willie the giant from Fun and Fancy Free - Bruno, Cinderella's dog (helped save Cinderella, should be there) - Caterpillar, Walrus...

    The Best of the Worst

I wouldn't call Carousel of Progress a ride. It's more of a show even though the theater rotates. Most of the rides on this list are the same thing, although Astro Orbiter is probably my scariest ride at the Magic Kingdom. Barnstormer is fun for like a minute. Ultimately though, I chose it's a...

Nightmare fuel... But I'm sure they patted themselves on the back for that ad.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

They've written original songs for the bears in the past though, at least 3? Many of the iconic attractions have had an original song and most have been fine. They've been working on a replacement for this for years and the best they could come up with is "let's have the bears sing popular...

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Ah, ok. I agree on no more Randy Newman in Frontierland, but they're probably itching to insert a Toy Story song into the Country Bears.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

I looked up the Three Amigos version and that's a different song, melody and lyrics, despite having the same name. I'm not sure which one is considered a classic, maybe they both are.

News Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Not thrilled about the changes, hoping the Tiki birds aren't next. I hope they leave the songs that were written for the bears and that it's not all "Disney's Greatest Hits" aka the most overplayed songs across all of property. I know it won't happen, but I wouldn't mind as much if they took...

Does anyone else feel the urgency to visit WDW at this point more than ever?

After witnessing what they did for their big 50th, the lackluster newer attractions, attractions being replaced that didn't need replacing, Genie+, no park hopping until after 2 pm, and much more...no. It's more of a hassle than an enjoyable vacation these days.

    Bat

Last year a frog hopped on me while waiting for the Tangled lantern photo. Not a roach, but still scared me.
