Probably completely replacing DAS with the minimum accommodations required to comply with the law. Which is why people should really be hoping Disney is successful at limiting abuse as much as possible.

You're the one claiming they don't care about massively increasing standby waits. Even with DAS abuse, the percentage of people using the LL is nowhere close to 100%. Of course they could increase it. It isn't selling out now though. If they wanted to make G+ a more attractive service so it did...

This makes no sense. If Disney wanted to sell more Genie+ and was cool with increasing standby times 50%, they could do that tomorrow without touching DAS and making a bunch of people upset.

I would bet there's a strong correlation between frequency of visits and DAS usage.

I agree that Disney should have had all the info ready to go before announcing anything, but the overwhelming sentiment from DAS users in this thread (and elsewhere) is that none of the discussed alternative accommodations is likely to work for them. And in some cases, I'm sure they're right...

But nearly everyone seems to think the status quo should still apply to them. Agree with you there. They seem to make this mistake fairly often.

10% off is "a bit of a discount". This merchandise is finally selling because it's highly discounted. That's the point of a clearance, which is what this is.

I'm guessing it's because the problem isn't just fraud. It's that a one-size-fits-all solution has created an environment that is no longer sustainable. Which is why they're going to be offering return-to-line and perhaps other accommodations and restricting who is eligible for DAS.

Call me whatever names you want, but people with laser eyes definitely shouldn't get DAS.

Man, episode 5 was really something. I thought this was interesting and worth posting here: It's unfortunate whatever happened with DeMayo. This show was obviously made by people who care deeply about the source material, which is all you can really ask for as a fan regardless of how it turns...
