We usually stay at deluxe resorts or moderates. If we want to splurge nothing beats a Disney deluxe hotel. We've stayed at the WL and the CR and this Dec. are splitting our stay between the Poly & BWI. We spend alot of time at the resorts not just sleeping. We enjoy walking around the resorts...

Anyone please corect me if I'm wrong but I've read in other posts that the Pop Warner affects mostly the All-Stars hotels & Wide World of Sports but they don't make a huge impact on crowds at the parks. At least I hope so :lol:

We're headed 12/6 - 12/14 & from what I've read it one of the least crowded times. Hope it's still true ! You get the Christmas decorations without the crush of the crowds. :xmas:

I think the Wilderness Lodge is beautiful at Christmas time. With the huge tree and decorations, it really puts you in the Christmas spirit. My second favorite is the Boardwalk Inn.:xmas:

Oh my gosh ! That sounds so adorable ! :sohappy: I'm taking my son for his first b-day in Dec. :xmas: I wonder if they'd do it for a 1 year old ? I could just imagine his face, he's pretty fearless. I could just imagine those pictures & the special memories they would make.

I feel the same the vacation packages are not for my family. It's cheaper for us to book the room only & get the ticket separate. That's why this year we splurged on 2 AP passes & now this dilemma. I really don't think we'll renew next year. I can't complain because I got the Swan for the AP...

I was expressing humorously (so I hoped my frustrations at the lack of miscommunication coming from Disney as to the codes. While they never guaranteed they sure used it as the #1 benefit when I bought my pass. & for the last 2 years I think they've been releasing codes so what's the change now...

Heading out to WDW in early Dec. Just us 3, me, DH & DS (1 years old). Staying at AKL so far. I don't consider myself a Disney expert but we go at least once a year. But I am slightly obsessive specially when it comes to planning our trips. In anyones humble opinion which are the best guidebooks...
