Chicken Strips Gone from the World?

I can't believe this! I look forward to my first chicken strip meal when I arrive at WDW, coming from the UK where it is not so easy to find great food like this - I am so disappointed, I don't think I can bring myself to visit this year. Bring back the strips!

Raglan? House of Blues? Whispering Canyon?

I would go for Raglan Road, House of Blues is maybe a bit of an odd place and atmosphere for kids and we had an awful experience when we went to Whispering Canyon, the service was awful!

    Spending Money Budget - HELP!!!

I agree, we travel from the UK and the Dining Plan is a great deal! But it really depends on where you like to eat. If you aren't big on table service or you have a car and and area prepared to eat off site, $200 will be plenty.

Deffinately try Boma or Jiko at AK lodge, Boma is a buffet with a huge choice of food. I'd take a cab, it really isn't very far at all, at most will would cost about $10 each way.

    Two days on my own

I think taking a tour is a great idea if you're travelling alone, it means that you are with a group of people and can easily find someone chat with if you wanted to. There is the Backstage Safari and Animal Kingdom and several tours the Magic Kingdom. Another great thing to do is go for...

    Stroller - Bring or Rent?

If your not wanting to travel down with your stroller but are put off by the costs of renting everyday, you can pick up a cheap stroller for $20 or so at the local Walmart when you get there and just leave behind. $20 well spent I think

Congratulations, I will be there in October too. and like DisneyChik17 says make sure you mention with it with your ADR's. I used to work and the Rose & Crown and we would keep an eye out for things like this and would try to make things extra special.

I used to be a cast member at the United Kingdom Pavillion in EPCOT, obviously due to visa's I couldn't stay but I would cut my big toe off to work for Disney again. I loved every minute of it! Yes the hours were long and every day wasn't easy but we all did our best to make it all about the...
