My experience is that you can't book anything online (even room-only) for dates anywhere in 2010. You can make the room-only reservations if you call on the phone though. I got a quote for off-peak dates in Jan and was quoted full peak season rates... So, you could reserve rooms now if you...

It really shouldn't be hard to estimate the stress and hit rates that would be encountered. There are plenty of simluation programs out there, like IT Guru that would simulate the network traffic on all the servers and other components. Besides, Disney does have online room reservations...
