Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

I have no issue providing proof (Disney's never taken it)! Third party companies just make me wary.

Difference with those lines vs attraction lines? I can sit! I don't have to stand in a spot (or two) for quite some time, which is generally where my cerebral palsy flares up. Standing in short lines is possible for me. But 45 minutes? An hour? Two hours? Nope!

Including the concerts at Epcot. Just because I can sit and wait for Air Supply or Candlelight doesn't mean I can stand for 2 hours in line. There's a handicap viewing area at the hub that would actually work perfectly in your situation, and I'm sure the CMs there could find your son a chair...

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Assuming Disney is using the CDC definition of developmental disability, there's no question such a diagnosis qualifies because it is absolutely classified as a developmental disability. Do I think they will? I can only hope so because I fall under the same category although my case is rather mild.

But what colour starbursts? There are right and wrong answers.

Luckily I do have one that can be considered related, or is at least by the CDC and others. It's just not my primary disability by any means.

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

When I was at Rosen, I used to know a few classmates who were frontline/lead GR CMs. That was brought up once by one of them during a class, and the consensus was that it didn't actually happen but was a myth. I disagreed because I had seen and heard such stories enough that it wasn't just a one...

Exactly why I'm waiting for clarification on that. It should be fine, it's just something I would need to get something for because most of my paperwork is about vision for obvious reasons.

Qualifies you for a return time in Paris and possibly Tokyo. Not sure about Shanghai or Hong Kong because English language resources for those are rather iffy. But at least in Paris it is specifically called out as a diagnosis you can use to get one.

Not qualifying via a visual impairment that profoundly impacts my life (though I really only ever have my cane out at Disney dud to crowds) but qualifying based on cerebral palsy that barely impacts my life is hilarious. (It is at best a secondary disability to my primary disability, and it's...

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

The way this is worded, even though I have documentation, it no longer seems like the system would allow me to have the same level of access I once did, because my disability is not autism related, and while I do possibly have something that could be classified as a developmental disability...

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Oh god, do not talk to me about referrals. This has happened many times for me. Far too many times... I'd love to know more about this myself - as my disability I've always used as reasoning for DAS (and have paperwork for) is not autism-related. Would be bloody well gutted if they stopped my...

Disney Passes on Bluey Theme Park Rights?

Wouldn't be the first time they slightly changed something and made it into a semi successful show, like the early life of Jack Nicholson...

    The hotels of HKDL

The price for Miracosta, never mind the other official hotel of TDR, have significantly slipped from what in the prices would be in USD even a year ago, currently at about 15% decrease year over year due to the depreciation the Yen is taking against the dollar which seems to have no end in...

It's a Small World with Groot

Will VD do any voice work for this attraction, given OLC will almost certainly throw him whatever money he wants for it? It would probably consist of him just singing "I am Groot", with a "we are Groot" maybe thrown in there, but it would still be hilarious.

And various other dogs. For some reason it's only dogs. Sometimes the dogs are voiced by celebrities. Many of which you wouldn't know unless you watch Australian television...

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

As a disabled person, I'm lucky enough that most times all I have to do to get a good seat is simply pay a bit more to get closer up or a better view (which I'm willing to do, 100%). Some venues (especially in Vegas) have been nice enough to give me a better seat/the accessible seat without...

Damn. Now I can't deny it. Better start figuring out the wording on the letter I'm going to need!

Rumor New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Bowling Green's program I take it? When I was at Rosen, during undergrad the issue of disability access came up often, especially during my risk management class. Something like this was almost always ruled out as likely, as this was before Six Flags or SeaWorld adopted the standard, because of...
