Shanghai Disneyland capacity at 50% starting August 24, 2020

Earlier this year, it was announce by Entertainment Operational Director Bruno Chastain that an all-new Christmas parade with nighttime capabilities would debut. Is this parade still going to make it this holiday season? Or will they be debuting it a year later?

These new projectors seem a bit too noticeable. Couldn’t they have placed them inside the buildings through the windows? From what I know, that’s what Disneyland does. Unless the interior of the buildings at mainstreet are unusable I don’t see a reason why they couldn’t have done that

water should definitely be added and then place more fountains for the show as well if pyro will be cut back. Out if all the castles with fountains Disneyland paris does it best, It perfectly supplements the show and the area. Shanghai IMO looks forced as well as tokyo disney.

Yep that shouldn’t be even counted as a nighttime spectacular since there’s nothing spectacular about it

Building a smaller and cheaper park might lead to another Walt Disney Studios Paris. that park initially was a disaster and was basically built to be able to keep the land of the resort.

would be interesting to see what the future of HKDL will be especially with everything that is going on. Until when is the land for phase 2 reserved for HKDL?

Construction seems to be in full swing again, is it possible that the delay would take months rather than a year?

I agree, saturating the park with the same franchises does not seem like a good move. HKDL deserves unique attractions and lands based on a singular IP might not age well. The lands not aging well is what I'm worried about. If one day frozens loses its popularity the entire land might suffer...

If phase 2 does get developed will it be a theme park or something that costs less? I dont think neither of the two parties of HKDL would want to spend a lot

Fantasyland needs to improve I hope they add a dark ride soon maybe a Raya and the Last dragon ride?? Assuming the movie does well

By the way does anyone know how many more expansion pads HKDL has?

I hope not that would seem like a disaster when it comes to sighltlines and it would dwarf space mountain

Or are delays not expected?
