WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

Same. I knew you move 20 feet vertically, but I thought it was a 5 foot initial jolt, followed by a smooth lowering to the bottom.

News Disneyland to give Snow White’s Scary Adventures dark ride a major facelift in 2020

The wasted ten seconds between the true love's first kiss and the farewell scene is a real shame. The kiss scene really should have replaced the cottage to allow for room to breath between the witch at cauldron, smashed mirror, cliff, and kiss scenes. It's really poor pacing. The ride is very...

News Disneyland to give Snow White’s Scary Adventures dark ride a major facelift in 2020

Pooh isn’t exactly a “ride like” Snow. Pooh is like Indiana Jones if all the sets were 2D flats: it has the absurd scale of Indiana Jones with the old school design of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. I’m pretty sure the system does share a lot of the design features with...

The Peter Pan ride in TDL vs. TDS

That’s not actual concept for the ride. No telling what sort of theming they would layer on top of the ride system. I doubt they’d go that generic and industrial. They usually do a decent job hiding the ride system. If it was unclear, those images are just a reference for my guess. I could be...

The Peter Pan ride in TDL vs. TDS

There’s definitely precedent. Nemo and Toy Story come to mind. DLR has two Nemo attractions between its two parks. Toy Story has three. TDS has two Nemo attractions, each in different lands. Toy Story has a ride in each park, and a hotel. WDW has a Nemo show in Animal Kingdom, and the Nemo...

The Peter Pan ride in TDL vs. TDS

The Peter Pan ride is rumored to be some kind of simulator, so it’d be a very different experience. I’d imagine it’ll be something like this:

I heard security has been hitting the gym and juicing this past year.

News Disneyland Guidelines note that guests can be asked to leave for using profanity or offensive language

There are two situations: Security isn’t going to pull you aside for saying PG-13 words to your friends. Security will, however, be called in when a guest starts escalating and screaming profanities at a cast member. And Disney is clarifying that they reserve to boot you out on that basis.

News Disneyland Guidelines note that guests can be asked to leave for using profanity or offensive language

No ones saying you’ll get banned for using foul language. What the policy says is they won’t be tolerating profanity directed at cast members and guests alike. I think you have it backwards. Tattoos never hurt anyone. There’s nothing inherently un-family-friendly about them. What actually...

Haunted Mansion to Return with New Enhancements and Magic :(

Even the DLP has a trade off, because though you enter through the front door, you have to go through this awkward narrow hallway to get right to the foyer.

Haunted Mansion to Return with New Enhancements and Magic :(

WDS has the honor of being a place that I left before even going on any rides. What a dreary park. I was standing in the switchbacks for Rock’n’Roller Coaster and thought to myself “What am I doing with my life, I could be riding Thunder Mountain again right now.” I went before Rat and the only...

    Miscellaneous Tokyo Thoughts

It’s not a tent, but it’s also not the same village facade at Disneyland/DLP. Not sure why they made it look like the discount version. Yes, it doesn’t need to be raised because there’s no basement underneath, but the DLP version is the same design.
