One of those differences is the beds! Ones you can actually sleep on! They beat Disney beds HANDS DOWN!!! They are called Heavenly Beds.... very fitting name!

My daughter started collecting them YEARS ago at WDW. We get some at all kind of locations (not just WDW) She's gotten several from NewOrleans - we are very close (2 hours away). It is a very good way to remember all the places you've been, even if it is just a day trip.

Weather and Crowds are much better than in May. Most of my trips have been in May and while it has never been really bad weather or crowd wise, october is much cooler - I find that if it is cooler, I really don't mind the crowds so much. :lol:

My family and I ate there last Sunday and it was packed, but with not much of a wait. Of course, the bigger your party, the longer your wait, but we had a party of only 3 and waited about 2 minutes. But once we got inside, you could clearly see that the place was full. As a table opened up...

Anything STITCH is a very bad decision. But honestly, there have been quite a few bad decisions..... the cutting back on MANY attractions is awful! The shows are rushed and parts left out, the parades are rushed - no stops and fewer interactions with the guests...... there are too many to list...

My Daughter just started the College Program and will be working the front desk at AKL! Her first day of training was yesterday. She loves it. If you get checked in my a young lady by the name of Courtney with an amazing smile, that's my baby!

Same for us - laptops, change from previous day and all sorts of other stuff laying around and NEVER touched by mousekeeping.

They sell them at every Disney Resort hotel gift shop and many places in every park. My daughter still has several from her trips when she was younger.

The WS in Epcot is my FAVORITE part of WDW. My husband and daughter both love it. We love the food:slurp:, drinks:p, and the shows:lol:! They are all wonderful! Just take it slow and explore each pavillion (as others have said).

Agreed! Most of us who have been many times don't do EVERYTHING. There is NO way to do absolutely everything in 8 days. NO WAY. For most of us who do what we like (NOT everything), 8 days is plenty - perfect, even.

Honey, you are in good company on this site! I've gotten some GREAT tips from some wonderful people on here about packing, the types of clothes, etc. I ALWAYS travel in linen pants. I have long pants and capris that I can dress up or dress down. They are by far the most comfortable clothes...
