Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

Every time I've been Indy has been packed full, I can't see them getting rid of it at a time when the park is going to be the fullest it's ever been. If they ever decide to replace it I would rather they put in a new show than demo it for a ride.

Rumor Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

I hope they don't get rid of MILF, it's such a funny and different experience and is great for families with young kids and people who just don't like rides much.

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

I don't live in London and all of the shops here are full of Harry Potter merchandise. The Primark in my town has an entire Harry Potter section in the homeware department, it's own jewellery display stand, it's own pyjama display, it's own display in the bag area and shelves of clothes in both...

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

If you'd read any of my posts in full you'd realise that's what I've been talking about this entire time:

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

But again most of those items would not be saleable in a merchandising environment which is supposedly supposed to be in world. I agree that there is much more merchandise to be made from Star Wars but how much of that is it possible to market as an item that someone on Batuu in whatever year...

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

This may be a difference in country then because Harry Potter merchandise is huge in the UK where I live. Go to any local shopping centre and you'll find Harry Potter sections in multiple shops. My local shopping centre for example stocks Harry Potter merchandise in Argos, Sainsbury's, Primark...

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

But how much of that stuff can they sell in Batuu? I'd also argue that not much of that will be appealing to visitors that aren't star wars super fans. HP will win out by selling lots of lower priced items in larger quantities to a wider variety of people. My argument isn't that Star Wars is a...

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I have no problems with a family/childrens land in HS because that's really what it needed. If you have a young family, or medical conditions or a fear of thrill rides the only thing for you to do currently at HS is TSMM and a bunch of aging shows. TSL adds two rides that 99% of guests can enjoy...

Galaxy's Edge popularity vs Potter's popularity

My feeling is that to Disney it's not going to matter that Star Wars is arguably the larger IP because HP beats it hands down in terms of saleable merchandise. Disney limiting the land to only 'in world products' is not the same as Universal doing the same simply because there are vast scores of...

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

My problem with Mary Poppins is that it is so locked in to the upper middle class la di da representation of a london centric Britain that I had hoped the pavilion would begin to move away from. I also have problems with the nostalgia aspect when it is being used to glorify certain aspects of...

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

If you only want news that has already been announced by Disney go hang out on the disney blogs or in a thread with confirmed in the title, otherwise please note the title of the forum 'rumours' and stop moaning about the lack of proof. The insiders on this site have been consistently bang on...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Funnily enough I found the screens to be markedly better integrated in Gringotts and the ride mechanics and narrative to be way more interesting than FJ. Overall for me Gringotts is the superior ride.

Disney to make daily announcements about new park offerings - 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas

Just adding an example of a resort with two modes of transit, Port Orleans Riverside, where I stayed in August, has both a boat and a bus service to Disney Springs. I don't ultimately see the problem with removing the bus service for the cable car though seeing as the latter will be way more...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

A few pages back people were arguing that it was a bad choice to add another thrill ride to that side of the park and now you're all up in arms because it's family friendly? Both HP rides over at Uni are family friendly but they're still some of my favourites in Orlando. Having n inversions and...

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

GMR and MMRR share similarities only when you describe them in the vaguest way possible and to imply otherwise is ridiculous. MMRR takes you in to the world of a series of short cartoons which the vast majority of visitors will not have seen. It will be fun yes and provide a tangential link to...

Do we have any details at all about this ride yet?

Rumor Is Indiana Jones Planning an Adventure to Disney's Animal Kingdom?

I think there's a tendency to overhype Mystic Manor on these boards because it's a huge example of the type of ride people claim Disney isn't doing anymore- non IP dark ride with physical sets not 'screenz' (although it does have some screens). Because it has all of those things that people say...

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

Honestly this seems like the Epcot addition that's most likely going to be completely scrapped so I'm not holding my breath, but a Carousel, whatever's it's themeing would be intensely disappointing and really not something that will be a benefit to WS at all.

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

I would prefer basically anything over a spinner or a carousel. If it's got to be a b ticket at least make it something that's not a straight out of the box bog standard nothing ride. Sad to see Brave off the table as I'd quite come around to thinking it would make a worthy addition to the UK...

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

I've never understood their placement of the Frozen shorts. The last one played before the live action Cinderella remake and parents complained that the movie wasn't aimed at small kids and so their kiddos they'ed brought for the frozen short were bored out of their minds. I took my sister (then...
