Is a WDW vacation worth it now?

Just had some Co-workers come back and said never again, parks too full and long waits and making reservations to get in parks, we are long time visitors but I think the fun is being taken away

Anyone Know What Concrete Is Used at Magic Kingdom?

I remember when DW was first build that Walt had wanter first class materials to last a long time, probably because of the failure of Asphalt at Disneyland on Grand Opening, I remember he wanted extra thick shingles to last 50 years (cedar) on those type of buildings, there are different grades...

    RV Trip to Fort Wilderness

We have stayed at FW since it opened starting with a little Pop-up to a large 5th wheel, also used a Motorhome, you can't go wrong at FW, I would advise checking the different Disney RV sites so you can pick out a Loop you would like, we liked the 800, 900, area and the 700 loop also, you can...

    FW Cabins vs POR

Another option might be AOA Suites, we have stayed at the Cabins several times, we didn't mine the buses as its a more laid back resort and everybody doesn't seem to be in a hurry, the buses at AOA were good but more crowds, we really liked AOA and it was under $ 300.00 for a suite

WDW has lost much of its magic.

We tend to agree, they need to upgrade the so-called premium restaurants , and they only have two parks we now like AK and MK, and prices have got crazy, we have been going for more years than most peoples age, and have seen a lot of changes, most changes are not for us,

Currently booked at Pop Century, are the Disney Springs hotels just as good?

Staying on site you don't have transportations problems, DS hotels are probably better quality in some respects but your not what they call onsite with those amenities , and they buses we took in the past from DS took forever

Help choosing a resort for trip #2

POFQ would be a good choice as most mod's are fairly large and more walking, as far as mobility, there are scooter rental places in Disney area that will deliver and pickup at your hotel that are reasonable and Disney is very acomodating to them
