What should be the next countries in World Showcase?

Yeah...that'll be happening the same day all four parks are linked by monorail.

    Monorail to MGM

Disney definitely has the way and means to expand the monorail line...after all, they certainly have the money to go around building more unnecessary resorts, so they surely have the money to extend the monorail line. It would definitely be a good thing if they did, too.

What should be the next countries in World Showcase?

The only other country I would actually enter World Showcase to see would be Egypt (or, actually any potential pavilion containing a major ride).

    About first-timers...

But....if this first time is someone I know pretty well, then I'll also know what things they'd like and not like and can steer them away from the weaker attractions. I figure this way I'll spare them and myself the aggravation.

    Best Resort Shopping

Which resort do you think has the best gift shopping?

    About first-timers...

I'd definitely have to steer them towards what I consider the best attractions (i.e. Tower of Terror, Spaceship Earth, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, etc..etc..) and spare them from the complete waste-of-time attractions (i.e. Jungle Cruise, It's a Small World...

    Attractions into Movies....

With the latest trend of turning Disney attractions into films, what's next? - It's a Small World: The Motion Picture - Tomorrowland Transit Authority: The Movie and don't forget the action/adventure flick: Spaceship Earth: The Motion Picture

    How many times?

    748 times......or, er....uh....wait....no make that 4 times.

    WDW Pet Peeves

The goal was to insult the (whom I consider to be) insensitive, thoughtless parents who take their children to Disney at an age where they'll remember nothing of it, depriving them of some wonderful potential experiences and memories. It appears the goal has been met, because only those types of...

    WDW Pet Peeves

Paying attention might help you see that the child's remembrance of their visit HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE ARGUMENT THAT ITS NOT OK TO TAKE THEM. Read a little more carefully and you'll see just that.

    WDW Pet Peeves

Well I'm glad to not have insulted any thoughtful parents. Only the insensitive ones.

    WDW Pet Peeves

If that was the case, the parents would have the common courtesy to bring their children to Disney when they're old enough to be able to appreciate and share in the joy of the place with their parents, not simply be brought along to smile at pretty colors and have no clue where they are or what...

    WDW Pet Peeves

Another pet peeve.....people who make things up just to counter others' statements.

    WDW Pet Peeves

The toddler would have as much, if not MORE, fun sitting in a closet at home banging on a pot with a wooden spoon. Sure they have a right to be there, but why bother taking them someplace as extravagant as Disney when they'll get nothing out of it?

    WDW Pet Peeves

Re: Re: Re: It's for the selfish parents! Again, I agree. I don't think it's worth bringing a child to Disney until they're of an age where their mind is a little more developed to the point where they can remember (on their own with no parental coaching) points of the trip. That crack about...

    WDW Pet Peeves

Re: It's for the selfish parents! Though trying to not be as crass, I do agree with you on this point. I don't think infants and toddlers need to be taken to Disney because they'd have the same amount of fun at home with a pot and a wooden spoon to bang on the pot. I have serious doubts...

    WDW Pet Peeves

I hardly think any parks would close if smokers were no longer welcome. By far there are more non-smokers than there are smokers in this world. "Designated areas" for smoking is an oxymoron. No matter where smoking areas are, the smoke and stench still has a way of getting over to non-smokers...

    WDW Pet Peeves

Actually there have been scientific studies documenting the benefits that a little wine has on the heart. There are none that state there are benefits to tar and smoke filling the lungs.

    WDW Pet Peeves

More pet peeves.... - People who walk around the park all dressed up in gawdy, tacky jewelry and in attire like they're at a fancy country club. - People who bring infants and toddlers to the parks and act as if they're doing them a life-changing favor despite their being too young to even...

    WDW Pet Peeves

I fully agree with you. WDW should do both non-smokers AND smokers a favor by not allowing smoking anywhere on Disney property. It helps save the lives of both groups.
