I guess I always wondered why they didn’t widen the parade route West at the Matterhorn and widen the route East (just South of Alice). They only need a meter or so to open up one side for viewing; and for some segments, I think opening both sides is doable.

Does anybody have any insight why TDA doesn't widen the parade route as it passes Matterhorn to allow for audience viewing on at least one side of the parade route?
