Early entry with CRT or CP

The dessert party is not super crowded. The is a photopass photographer set up to take pictures with the castle in the background before Wishes starts. If you let the photographer know you are proposing, you could get her reaction captured in photos.

    First time at Wilderness Lodge.

We usually have a woods view and I request a room facing the MK (north side) for a truly quiet woods feel. There are some rooms that face the villas that are considered woods view, but they are so close to the walkway to the villas and bus stop, that it's not very tranquil. When you check in ask...

    Boardwalk villas

We typically stay at WL but stayed at the Boardwalk last May when my DD ran the 5k in Animal Kingdom. Overall we liked our stay at Boardwalk, but we truly missed WL. Liked the convenient transportation to EPCOT and the Studios, but getting to MK via bus was slow. Really missed the boat...

    Poly & Wilderness Lodge

Both resorts have great theming, and it appears that you are split between you & your husband on preference. One feature of WL that I prefer over Poly is that it is one building and not several. You can go to Roaring Fork, Whispering Canyon, do laundry or explore the lobby without having...

    Honeymoon

It would be a toss up for me between Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge. Both resorts have a great theming. Polynesian has that Hawaii theme that a PP mentioned and Wilderness has a cozy northwoods theme.

    Wilderness Lodge Room locations

Can't really speak from personal experience on the standard room view since we've never had one, but from what I understand some are not real good. We usually get a room with a woods view. I prefer the view that faces the MK rather than the Villas & bus stop. However I did spring for a...

    breakfast on counter service

On our next trip, we are planning to eat at Starring Rolls at DHS. We haven't ever eaten there, but I have read some good reviews. They have many bakery items if you wanted to do breakfast or they have sandwiches for lunch. The only thing negative I've read is that seating is limited and the...

    My First Time Disney Diner..

You just can't make ADR's for the 10 extra days without a resort reservation. Which only means that you would have to make them one at a time for each day at 180 days.

Can't make decision! Dining Plan or Not? Help!!!

If you don't mind planning ahead for those 4 other TS meals & spending another $175, I would go with the Dining Plan. You wouldn't be able to get 4 TS meals for your family of 5 for $175!!! I wasn't a fan of the DDP at first, but we really do enjoy it now. Every trip we try a new TS...

Two separate reservations or can I do this on one?

Food is good at Whispering Canyon and it can be a fun dining experience. It can be very loud as I'm sure you noted when you were there. Make an ADR if you decide to eat there. Ditto to the great food at Kona Cafe.

    Tuesday or Thursday for DHS??

Anyone experience a noticable difference in crowds on days that Fantasmic is not scheduled? On our next trip we are planning on a day without Fantasmic and I was hoping for more manageable crowds!!!
