Crowd Calendar- Going during non EMH

I agree, crowd calendars are useless now. We went in late January when it was supposed to be "low" and it was the same level of crowds that I remember seeing when I went in June one year. We did go to Epcot the night that they were having EMH (it was a Thursday) and it really wasn't bad at all...

Epcot arts festival screen printing question

I'd just bring one and see! I got a printed shirt last week and the guys working the booth were super friendly. I don't see them saying no.

Does anyone know when the Brazilian Tour groups usually show up?

Honestly feel like that’s what it’s going to take...ESPECIALLY after Galaxy’s Edge opens!

Does anyone know when the Brazilian Tour groups usually show up?

I agree. And this has nothing to do with what country they are from, just that there were droves of them. I was so bummed because I was expecting manageable crowds like the last time I went in late January, and it completely took away from our experience. Now I do understand that that's my own...

A long time Disney fan turns sour!

I just returned from trip number 13 (lucky) and must say that the magic for us is now is primarily in the resorts! We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter for the first time and it was beyond perfect. Such a lovely little resort, pristinely clean, and always calm and quiet. We also did a little...

News 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts dates revealed

Thanks so much for the info! This is such good news that we can experience it on Thursday as opposed to Saturday to avoid the weekend crowds!

News 2018 Epcot Festival of the Arts dates revealed

So on WDW’s facebook page today they posted that the festival is “open seven days a week”. However, information EVERYWHERE else seems to contradict this. We would love to go on Thursday as opposed to Saturday to avoid weekend crowds, but can’t seem to get a straight answer. Is it possible that...

Happily Ever After dessert party — yay or nay?

Thanks for the responses! I'm sure the viewing area perk was lovely, and since it was summer I'm assuming the crowds were probably pretty high? I guess my main concern is, would it be a waste of money since it's a Thursday night in a "lower crowd" part of January? I'd just hate to get there and...

Happily Ever After dessert party — yay or nay?

We will be there NEXT Thursday (yaaayyyy) and are wondering if the HEA dessert party (Plaza Garden option) is worth the $112 for both of us? This will be my husband and mine's first time viewing it and I want to be able to see the projections really well. With it being a Thursday in mid January...

Best Epcot Restaurants? Sharing Meals at WDW? Girlfriend's First Trip to WDW

When we go to world showcase we always just get small bites at the QS in each country, that way we can have a little taste around the world without paying the prices for a TS meal. We have found most of the food at the QS to be scrumptious (especially the fish & chips)!

HEA & Trader Sam's Arrival Time Question

We will be visiting in two short weeks and I was wondering about a couple of things if anyone has some insight... We are planning on doing MK on Thursday, Jan. 18th during the morning/early afternoon and leaving to go grab some adult beverages and food at the monorail resorts before returning...

    Mid January Trip Plans

Thanks! We would probably skip over Hollywood Studios if not for RR, which is my favorite ride of all the parks! It was closed for refurbishments when we were there last October and I was devastated. However, I do have very high hopes that Flight of Passage might end up surpassing RR for the...

    Mid January Trip Plans

Hooray for less crowds and thank you for the input! I did look into Spice Roads Table, but am not quite sure why I didn't go with it. The ambiance inside of Marrakesh looks really cool so I think that's why we went with that. We usually just get small plates in multiple countries when we're...

    Mid January Trip Plans

My husband and I will be traveling to Disney in January and would love any feedback or tips on our plans! We will be staying at Port Orleans FQ for the first time and are very excited (even though there will be refurbishments while we are there). We will arrive late Wednesday night (1/17) and...

Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter set for room refurbishments in early 2018

We will be staying there in January during the refurbishments. :hungover: Here's to hoping they don't put a damper on our experience! It will be our first time staying at a Port Orleans resort.

Late Night Arrival - Worth Using DME?

12:45 - 1:20 isn't too bad! As of now, our plans for the next day include a lunch reservation at Yak & Yeti at 12 and that's about it. Maybe hoping to get some FPs at Animal Kingdom during the late morning/afternoon hours but I guess we can plan around what we get (fingers crossed for FoP). It's...
