Some did Trolley split to DEP, some did FoF, PM MiSi , DEP. some did DEP only. Some did FoF, Hoedown, DEP. Some did other meet and greets into DEP. There were also significantly more people trained in parade roles back then.

Half of the cast perform in Frontierland Hoedown Happening and half perform in Adventure Friends. And all of that has to fit into an 8 hour shift with an hour lunch. And account for rest time in between performances

Not to get too far ahead, but have there been any rumblings about what may be next for Tokyo expansion, or is Space Mountain considered the next push after Fantasy Springs?

Entertainment base is actually over behind Indy in what used to be the original cast services building.

It’s because most float drivers also have to do rehearsals for Christmas in addition to their daily shifts at FoF, Adventure Friends, and Boo to You. These poor people need some sleep.

The MK moat is also sunken down(not at street level) and fountains would be difficult to see. You’d only see the upper half of the jets. It isn’t seen as a worthwhile investment.

Again, not when the replacement parts are no longer manufactured. They do what they can, but it’s not all possible anymore. Especially in regards to the two floats acquired from Tokyo.

They also only run parades seasonally and go down for extended periods of refurb. Day Parades in Orlando run every day of the year.
