    OMG 72 Minutes on hold

Mousefest is happening that week. Although the cruise portion of the meet is 12/7 - 12/11, many will be foregoing the cruise and heading straight to WDW. The land portion of the meet is from 12/11 - 12/15.

    Veteran's Day Crowds

Thanks a lot guys! I'm still up in the air about the whole thing. We usually go only during the "off" times so I'm a little concerned with being used to that kind of crowd level and then tomorrow experiencing what it's like to be a sardine!!!

    Veteran's Day Crowds

Has anyone here ever been to WDW on Veteran's Day? Although, we go quite often, we usually never go on holidays as a rule. Is Veteran's Day usually THAT bad?? :veryconfu

    Tapestry of Dreams Music

ToD is one of my all-time fav memories of WDW. We would play the music here at home and my son, (3 or 4 at the time) would put on his own "parade" for me here. He also does his own show to the "Illuminations" music and his explosive jumps are timed perfectly with the explosive points in the...

    celeberity sightings at WDW?

We met Mr. T at the Coronado Springs gift shop. He was so happy, just a hummin' to his little self. When I asked if I could shake his hand he practically grabbed me and hugged me. He called his personal assistant over, handed her our camera, and asked if she'd mind snapping a photo of him...

Wow, and to think that I was just 10 years old!! Thanks for sharing! I love it! Oh, and the hair-dos represented here are utterly fabulous!

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Courtyard Music

I can't wait to go back now. :sohappy: I liked the other music that was played but playing Aerosmith on the outside really gets you pumped up for what's going on inside the building! Even while doing the child-swap thing and waiting for my husband, I think I'll feel more connected with what's...

    Goofy's Crap Dancing Jamboree

Well, it's true. As others have said before me, the show was terrible but I'd rather see it stay than turn into a "meet & greet" location. WASTED SPACE! With the stage set-up already there, it really should be another show. The whole audience participation thing is what really bit in the...

Fave missed ride, in all of Disney

Tramp, the pic you posted made me so sad!! I remember my mother being sooooo afraid that the cables were going to snap. For some reason, even as a little girl this never phased me. I was just happy to be that high up! I would say that my most missed would probably be "If You Had...

    Electrical Water Pageant parking

They should let you part AT the Poly. We've gone to several of the Resorts just to look around or explore. When you tell this to the guard at the gate he'll give you a 3 hour pass for your dashboard. You'll probably have to show your driver's license but other that that the hassle should be...

    WDW Good idea/Bad idea

Good Idea: The creation of Tapestry of Dreams Bad Idea: Ending the run of Tapestry of Dreams ( Sorry, I can't help it, guys! I still miss it!!) :(

If I could only do one attraction it would be...

I agree! Talk about torture picking only one! There are rides at Disney that are simply great for fun AND thrills and then there are the ones that impart that Disney Feeling and Magic that is their own unique brand. For me, the one that gives me that ultimate Disney Feeling would have to be...

    Ohana's vs. Luau vs. Hoop-Dee-Doo

Thanks a million, guys for your response! You've helped me out a lot. I've pretty much weeded out the Luau and have decided to possibly do 'Ohana's one night and Hoop-Dee-Doo Review on another since we will be there 5 nights. Looks like I'll have to miss out on our precious "Chef Mickey's" on...

What Walt Disney Hotel Do You Like Best?

I get the most "Disney MAGIC" feeling when I'm staying at the Contemporary. To me, as far as the resorts go, it IS Disney like no other. Maybe it's because it's so very close to the Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom Lodge is great too but since we were staying there on 9/11/02, I sometimes get a...

Favorite disney character other than mickey mouse??

My precious, precious Donald Duck! He's a close second to Mickey for me. I thought that Emperor Kusco and the Genie in Aladdin were hilarious too (considering some of the newer stuff).

    Ohana's vs. Luau vs. Hoop-Dee-Doo

Thanks, guys. I've heard so many wonderful things about Ohana's that I'm leaning that way. On the other hand, I kind of want to see a dinner show. I guess we'll see. By the way, tigsmom, regarding the kind of food I prefer..........as long as it doesn't swim or is an innard :hurl: of...

    Where to stay

With the code "BAF" the value resorts are $55 a night but would only be good between 8/28 and 9/29. Possibly you could at least get a discount on your first two nights of stay using this code. It also depends on if the rooms offered at this special rate are sold out already or not.

    Ohana's vs. Luau vs. Hoop-Dee-Doo

Ok, help me out here guys. I tend to be a creature of habit and on our many visits to WDW we usually eat at the same ol' places. I've never tried Ohana's, "The Spirit of Aloha" dinner show or the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review. If I had to choose only one, which should it be? :veryconfu
