I suggest a visit to the Rose & Crown in Epcot's England pavilion. It's a traditional pub, and I always enjoy spending time bellied up to the bar and enjoying the (rather loud) ambiance.
What??? I would have loved being called "sir" when I was a kid. And I don't play the game of gender - if you're female, you're a "ma'am". If I'm not sure, I don't commit either way.
The Makin' Memories song was only on the pre-show. It did really have anything to do with the main film, Magic Journeys (which always creeped me out!).
I believe the Makin' Memories show was a multi-slide show, an art form that is rarely if ever seen these days.
I remember that group. Dave Pool, Larry, Bob Richmond, playing trivia on Tuesday nights - lotsa fun! I met the guys once at Downtown Disney. We ended up at the Adventurers Club, and everybody wanted to sit like a log, so I split.
While I didn't like the schtick, I didn't complain about it. I kinda knew what I was in for. Still, after being nagged a few times to get my elbows off the table, I would have been fine if she figgered it out and just stopped.
While I appreciate the humor, I really can't understand all the food complaints for the Coral Reef. I've only had one so-so meal there - a lobster pasta that tasted like it was right out of the microwave. And even that wasn't bad - just wasn't as good as I was used to. You can't go wrong with...
I can't believe this thread is about how to cheat Disney. If you know that your popcorn buckets are for length of stay, then leave them at home on your next visit!
