Disney CMs calling guests " Friends"?

It was really strange hearing this from a mush-mouthed inner city kid!

    Whispering Canyon Reservation

I would think table size would be important. It's much easier to go from 3 to 4 than it is to go from 4 to 5.

    Bars/Lounges on a couples trip

I suggest a visit to the Rose & Crown in Epcot's England pavilion. It's a traditional pub, and I always enjoy spending time bellied up to the bar and enjoying the (rather loud) ambiance.

    Choosing a Park Help!

That's because the OP said it wasn't an option - it was between DAK and DHS. I'm a big fan of Epcot, even for kids.

Disney CMs calling guests " Friends"?

What??? I would have loved being called "sir" when I was a kid. And I don't play the game of gender - if you're female, you're a "ma'am". If I'm not sure, I don't commit either way.

Disney CMs calling guests " Friends"?

I'm not wild about "friend", just as I'm not wild about "chief" or "boss". Just go with "sir" or "ma'am" and you'll be safe.

    making memories

The Makin' Memories song was only on the pre-show. It did really have anything to do with the main film, Magic Journeys (which always creeped me out!). I believe the Makin' Memories show was a multi-slide show, an art form that is rarely if ever seen these days.

    Old Compserve Disney Forum

I remember that group. Dave Pool, Larry, Bob Richmond, playing trivia on Tuesday nights - lotsa fun! I met the guys once at Downtown Disney. We ended up at the Adventurers Club, and everybody wanted to sit like a log, so I split.

    Cali Grill Question

That's what I'd do - watch the fireworks from the balcony, then go inside for dinner.

What is the most over-rated and under-rated restaurants in WDW?

While I didn't like the schtick, I didn't complain about it. I kinda knew what I was in for. Still, after being nagged a few times to get my elbows off the table, I would have been fine if she figgered it out and just stopped.

    Annual Pass Rumors

You are correct, sir. I'm obviously not paying attention this morning!

    Annual Pass Rumors

All the dates there are for 2021. So I don't think it's current at all.

Coolest themed restaurants for kids - my plan

While I appreciate the humor, I really can't understand all the food complaints for the Coral Reef. I've only had one so-so meal there - a lobster pasta that tasted like it was right out of the microwave. And even that wasn't bad - just wasn't as good as I was used to. You can't go wrong with...

Coolest themed restaurants for kids - my plan

San Angel Inn has great atmosphere, and is much easier to book right now than Space 220. In fact, Space is almost impossible to score.

    Rose and Crown

This is actually good to hear. I've been trying for weeks now to book a lunch. I'll keep trying.

What do YOU call this attraction?

From the company that declared by sign for years that Buzz Lightyear was "lightyear's above the rest"!

    Where in The World?

In the loading area of Dinosaur.

    Popcorn Bucket

I can't believe this thread is about how to cheat Disney. If you know that your popcorn buckets are for length of stay, then leave them at home on your next visit! /off pious soapbox now ;)
