    Your favorite Disney Snacks?

L'Artisan des Glaces has an ice cream sandwich pressed between brioche and grilled. It is to die for.

    WDW Fanatic Tries DL

Love this post. I am a Southern California native and have been doing Disneyland my entire life. At least once a year until we had kids, and then we were going monthly with the passes. Moving to the midwest certainly put a damper on my Disney-fest, but then we discovered Disneyworld and TOTALLY...

Too many ADR's? I've got a shy kid here...

I've got littles too, and while I definitely appreciate the sit down meal each day, we find that one is usually enough at Disney, so I would definitely not plan for more than two.

18 months or 2 yr old?? Wait or not to wait.....

We've been doing Disneyland since the boys were newborns, but we did out first Disney World trip when my youngest had just turned 2 and it was wonderful. He was so excited and actually started talking there, it was great. I'm not sure he remembers that trip, but who cares? I certainly do! We...

Is Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad too scary for a 5 year old girl?

I agree it depends on her wishes and demeanor. We went last year with my (almost) 5 year old and he went on Splash and BTMR and loved both. He was maybe 38lbs at the time. My youngest will be a couple months shy of 4 on our next trip and will finally be at the 40" mark and wild horses couldn't...

Advise Me re: Be Our Guest

I really prefer the dinner option over lunch. It's more quiet and you really get to enjoy the setting, the food is better, plus my kids love getting to see the beat at the end of the meal. Also it's nice to have a glass of wine and get some more park time in after dinner. That being said. If...

CSR(with a rehab going on) vs. CBR

We stayed at CSR six months ago and our room was definitely not in need of work. I love that resort, and was so bummed to not be able to stay there this year. We're at CBR in November.

    Environmentally Irresponsible

We got one of these boxes with the booklet last week. I don't remember this from our other trips, but I'm sure we got them. But either way, my three year old has been carrying it around for days. I don't mind the little things like this, and if someone is concerned over waste, toss them in with...

    Cinderella's Castle

On our last trip, we got last minute reservations at CRT (as in, that morning when we were already in the park) and we went in jeans and t-shirts and there was no issue at all.

Would you rather do half day at Epcot or Hollywood Studio with a 5 year old?

I would do Hollywood Studios. I have a five year old who we've done two trips with in the last year and a half, and he really just doesn't enjoy Epcot. We still do it on every trip because I enjoy it (okay, I enjoy the snacks and shopping), but he wouldn't miss it.

Paying OOP for first time! Are we wrong to try this????

We like the free dining solely because of the characters meals. Because my kids are both over age 2, we HAVE to pay for them at character meals, and they LOVE character meals. I've done the math otherwise and we save even buying the ddp, but I'd be willing to bet in a few years we'd save a...

Table service for the first time! Where to eat?!

We priced out a value with the upgrade (We've got littles so those sit down meals are a godsend at the end of a long day), and the moderate was cheaper!

Paying OOP for first time! Are we wrong to try this????

I *love* the free dining promotion. We probably wouldn't go annually without it. There is no way the 20% of the room can outweigh 2-3 meals a day for our family, and my kids wouldn't get the number of character dining experiences that they do without it.

Table service for the first time! Where to eat?!

I totally get wanting to do Cinderella's Royal Table, we have two boys but did it anyway because the little girl in me just HAD to get inside that castle. We've enjoyed a lot of Epcot restaurants, Be our Guest, The Brown Derby, Tusker House, and Fulton's. T-Rex was just okay, pretty typical...

Sharing quick service meals on DDP

IF you're a kid. Table service credits are divided between adults and children. So if you are going on a five night trip , 2 adults and 2 children, with the regular plan you would get 10 adults table service credits and 10 childs table service credits. My plan is to divide up our quick service...

Sharing quick service meals on DDP

I was wondering if anyone shared their quick service credits on the dining plan? We have two kids and two adults on the plan this Fall and are light eaters through the day, so is it frowned upon to use two credits for breakfast and two for lunch? For example, purchasing two adult quick service...

Best area to stay in Coronado Springs?

We've stayed in the Casitas and Ranchos section. Of the two I preferred Casitas. Ranchos was quiet, but it was much more of a trek from the car and at the end of the day my poor feet just couldn't hang. Lucky you by the way! We couldn't seem to get a Coronado Springs this year and ended up...

    Magicbands on little ones?

We went last year and lost my 2 year olds band on day two. We never replaced it and it was never a problem.

Thinking About Canceling Our Trip Due to Ungrateful Kids...

I really think that once the kids get there they'll be singing a different tune. But you do have the fact that mom can pull the vacation out from under them last minute, which would make me really not want to spend all that money. Is there any way you can get the court to grant you those two...
