    Next Gen Busses

Those buses are on the roads on disney property. Those buses arent going to be seen on I4 coming from Jacksonville. You know what else is not in a park or resort Neither is this I for one am glad that Disney went the extra mile to put some thought into the design of those areas even...

    Next Gen Busses

By that same token I could ask why does a trash can need to be designed to be high quality, thoughtfully considered, impeccably designed, etc.... But Walt Disney spent a lot of time thinking about the trash cans in his park. That level of thoughtfulness pertaining to something others may...

    Disney Bloggers

I assumed a lot of the Disney bloggers did it for access/privilege more than anything.

    Something original maybe ?

Just to play devils advocate here, i dont think the thought process is that those attractions you mentioned are lesser because they arent attached to an IP. If im in charge my thought process is this, "Which land/attraction will do more for me generic wizard land or Harry Potter land, race car...

It seems like more competition in the Orlando theme-park space is bad for the consumer.

Seems to me that you compared the price of tickets for two Universal parks vs. the one park at Sea World. Hardly a fair comparison.

Rumor New ride coming to Animal Kingdom. D23 announcement expected.

Just because something has a height requirement doesn't mean it's thrilling. It sounds like your mom wouldn't be able to ride the tea cups and that has no requirement.

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opening day reports - Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think Disney is really doing themselves a disservice by using fast pass and limiting capacity to keep wait time artificially high. They have now conditioned guests to expect long waits no matter when they take a trip, so when something new is set to open people are planning to stay away...

How would YOU have made a Star Wars land?

I keep seeing comparisons to Harry Potter and it's locales but Star Wars really doesn't have that many places with notable buildings. If they built a Hoth area exactly what interesting piece of architecture would you expect? It's nothing shown there but snow and the inside of a rebel base which...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I don't recall the last time I've been to a sporting event and all the escalators actually worked.

    D23 - What a joke.

There seems to be a huge misalignment of what fans think this event should be and what corporate treats it as. Fans want it to be more San Diego Comic Con where you get a chance to meet interesting people of the industry, sit in on exclusive panels, have great merchandising opportunities, and...

    News D23 Expo 2019

You get more "meat" at comic-con. This just seemed like a corporate presentation.

    News D23 Expo 2019

The best thing to come from this is that it frees up some of the insiders here to give us info that would actually excite here. That's always been the case though so I'm not sure what people expected from a corporate presentation.

    News D23 Expo 2019

I love this time of year. All these pie in the sky wishes just dashed with "buy my merch" and announcements nobody cares about. Its like this every time.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Thats the thing, everyone thinks an IP they like deserves a "real attraction" but when its not the IP of their choosing all of a sudden its "the parks are too IP focused". Small attractions like this that dont require a hundred million dollar building are a welcome addition in my book.

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theodysseyonline.com/the-jaws-effect.amp There have been numerous shark attacks in the news lately and seems as they they frequently manage to sneak in a Jaws reference. No matter what criteria you use, Jaws doesn't fit the narrative you were pushing

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

The film has aged well, it's very watchable as the story is excellent, the music is great, and the use of physical props keeps if from looking too dated. It's a classic for a reason. The fact that scientists can site the continued viewing of that film as a big reason for mankind's fear of sharks...

Universal's Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex)

That park got to that point over 50 years. At its current point a good portion of the rides that are called E tickets would not qualify as such if they were built today. So to say Universal should build 10 E and 7 D tickets by 2024 standards on day one and if they don't its "concerning" is just...

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway confirmed

Jaws? Jaws has quite possibly the most well known theme music in history for a reason. That film is the exact opposite of flash in the pan, it's the quintessential animal attack film. It's also considered the 1st summer blockbuster in film. That film literally changed society with how people...

Universal's Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex)

That's a pretty big ask seeing as how only one Disney park in Orlando currently meets that goal.
