    News Tomorrowland love

I think they were going for more of a metallic look than frozen.

    News Tomorrowland love

I'd think if "Tomorrowland" is the theme, then unnatural should be what they're going for. Something not of this world. Something from a future time. Instead, everyone here seems to want a New Mexico Office Park/Plaza.

    News Tomorrowland love

Well, it's getting some much needed attention. Though I guess you can make up a big bowl of Cream of Wheat and still say you made it with love.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I believe Eisner had asked for a giant Mickey in the style of the Colossus of Rhodes straddling World Drive. Hench simplified it, but still...

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Well, they didn't build it, but here's a John Hench sketch of a Mickey Hotel proposed in the eighties.

    Star Wars Ep. 9 Thread

There's also the theory that Edwards delivered exactly what he was asked to deliver only Lucasfilm/Disney changed their mind about what kind of movie they wanted after the fact. I'm hoping he gets to work in the galaxy again. Perhaps with the Cassian Disney+ show.

https://geektyrant.com/news/darth-vaders-final-epic-scene-in-rogue-one-was-added-at-the-last-minute I've always heard Gareth remained heavily involved in post production even if he didn't work on the bulk of the reshoots.

But the Vader scene came after all of that. Quite close to release actually, and I've always heard that it was Gareth who handled it. I believe it was the editor who actually came up with the idea and Kennedy approved it.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I the concensus here seemed to be that you only got the asteroid scene if you had done poorly.

The FreshBaked gang was able to get two canisters AND the asteroid scene. I hadn't seen that done before. Ian mentions hearing about someone getting three canisters.

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

I once thought as you do. Now I believe "fans" just complain about how things aren't going the way they thought they would, call for creators to have their creations pulled from their hands, and offer up "better" ideas that are usually worse or at least impractical. This is far from a Disney...

News New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

I remember what they were like and what was inside. Like I said, both by design and theme, it was a concept that more belonged to the outer ring of the park than the inner. Communicore was like putting footnotes at the start of the book- see how Energy Exchange and Universe of Energy were...

They designed perimeter structures and put them in the hub. As baffling as building your berm around the castle with only tunnels and signage to keep you guessing what, if anything, lay beyond.

News New movie coming Epcot's Canada Pavilion

Hopefully the rockwork can be upgraded to modern Disney standards (or even 1982 standards-the rockwork here never looked great.)

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Last Jedi made $280 more than it's predecessor (Rogue One). More than most films ever gross. Guess it won back a lot of business/fans.
