Are the walls down yet around Spaceship Earth??

Any idea where we should watch the show from? I usually watch from the Future World side of the Lagoon, but if they're going to have some special effects on Spaceship Earth, maybe I should watch from World Showcase!! Decisions, decisions...

Of course, you know this means they'll probably be blasting Ratatouille music in the Entrance Plaza. I guess that's better than the Pirate and Peter Pan music they played all last year, but it's really going to detract from my enjoyment of the plaza on the 25th. Hopefully they'll just leave...

Do you think there would be enough time between now and the 1st for them to repaint Spaceship Earth's supports, or will it have to wait??

Assuming there are some special maps, or other media, I'd be happy to pick some up for you.

Me too!! And I really don't see why they don't bring it back. With the all-automated spiel they have now, a little music could really add a little something extra to the tour!!

Wow, from this angle it almost looks like old EPCOT again!!! If only the rest of the entrance plaza looked this lush. They really need to bring back the old planters with the grass - there was just something so great about that green grass that really made the area look lush and inviting.

This picture is a good example of why those LAL stones should be removed and the pictures put elsewhere. Look at how uneven they are - and they don't even follow the curve of the stones - looks strange. Plus, they didn't fill them all up and now that they've stopped selling them, probably...

I was just going to say that myself. The wand really ruined the scale of Spaceship Earth and made it look so much smaller. I can't wait until it's the tallest thing in Epcot once again!!! And merf - thanks for the pics. They're great!!! :sohappy:

I see your point, but it's really a matter of priorities. Personally, I've never cared as much about the Magic Kingdom as I do about Epcot. EPCOT Center was always my favorite park, so all these changes into "Epcot" have always annoyed me more than anything they've done at the Magic...
