    Akershus Princesses

I thought maybe not since she just started appearing in group princess merchandise. I guess for now, the thing to do would be to contact guest communications to let them know there is a want. Well, that and a tea with Tinkerbell character meal. I have the feeling it will be at least a year...

    Akershus Princesses

Have any of you seen Tiana at the Akershus breakfast? The reviews I've seen most recently show an increase in Cinderella appearances, which is nice as I think there will never be a hope of CRT for us.

Wife wants YC, I want the monorail

Speaking of hearing the sounds around you...I stayed at BC with my daughter and nephew once. Illuminations could be heard as well as the Taiko drummers. Both scared my nephew who was three at the time. You may want to consider that along with the personalities of your twins. Still, it was...

Anyone have the queue music from Soarin'?

You guys are great! The piece that plays every time I'm in the Soarin' queue is Cody's Flight. And yet, months ago it wasn't on itunes, Amazon except as a high priced CD. Now I've checked again and it's available for download! Woo!

    Character Questions

I was last there last January during the coldest week ever in Florida.:dazzle: My daughter has questions though and I like to dispel a lot of the walkaround character myths that people have. (You know, the ones about how cruelly the characters' friends are treated.) Anyway, Ariel was out and...

Is the Great Movie Ride lost on today's youth?

Are the AAs really that bad if Isabella Rossilini took her kids there to see their grandmother?

WDW Picture of the Day (Part 7)

These last few photos sort of play into something I've been looking for. I've been encountering the anti-Disney crowd. You know the ones who hate Disney World having never been there because they think it's all about Dumbo rides and being assaulted by Tigger in long lines. So, a photo...

    Disney World Restaurant Recipies

Has anyone ever received the recipe for the tuna salad in the Columbia Harbor House's Anchors Aweigh sandwich?

    Mission: SPACE - Green Side???

I ended up trying green the last time I was there with my husband who had never been on it. It seemed rather tame and more like a really cramped Star Tours. That wasn't so bad for me, for although I liked the weightless feelings of the original, I have allergies and the pressure made my chest...

Just Got Back - May 9-16!!!

I was just there for a mini trip 10th-13th. I agree with the heat issue. I've gone before in May and it was nothing like that! Now I'm back in the high 50s-high 60s and it feels cold. :dazzle: Strange how I still wish we could have stayed longer, even though there were points during the trip...

Compact Fluorescent Lamps at Walt Disney World

Ah-ha!!! Port Orleans switched to CFLs! The cheapy low-level brightness high color temperature white ones to boot. This so explains why my three-year-old had seizures while there earlier this week. I think I need to write a letter on behalf of those with epilepsy... CFLs vary. The really good...

Shouldnt kids be more familiar with the fab 5?

That happens with traditional 2D Mickey and Minnie too. It's in the character model sheets that his ears always remain facing that way regardless of his head position. What they get wrong is that Mickey's ears are not circles.

    The great "stroller" conspiracy.

My daughter is three and special needs...I'm racking my brain trying to think of what I could possibly need to bring into the parks that would need a cooler or what toys would possibly hold her attention over being in Disney World. I've taken her since she was an infant. Her medication does...

    Where is Mulan?

We always find Mulan at China in Epcot. One of her current friends is amazingly good with interacting with kids. She alone would be enough to make any child a Mulan fan. Disappointing about Mushu...I suppose it was a budget cut in Entertainment? :( Also, where is the best forum for requesting...

Going to WDW with small children?

My daughter first went at the age of six weeks. And the trip wasn't for her, it was for me because I'd only been to WDW for five days before getting sidetracked for ten months and wanted to get to at least the eight day mark on my AP. She has been there since at 10 months, 22 months, 2 1/2...

    Height requirements?

Very strict. My daughter made the 40", just barely, measured at Target on their toddler height chart, but didn't make it for Soarin' with Disney's measuring stick. She was slightly disappointed, but the baby alligators in Living With the Land made up for it.

    Caribbean Resort Room?

They also don't have the compass tables as shown on disneyworld.com. All the rooms I saw at least in building 35 were the non-barrel rooms, including my own. They were still working on some of them while we were there.

    Take a bag or not?

I always bring a regular sized backpack and don't usually have any problems, except with Soarin'. It's clear plastic so I get through security fast. My husband brings a courier bag that must have been owned by Mary Poppins at some point. The bag looks flat and empty even after he's shoved in...

Want to buy something I saw in Disney World

I didn't see any villain decks when I was there last week, although there were a lot of Disney themed playing cards. Just none of the ones on Bicycle's website. Those look like the decks Target tends to sell in their toy section. I've seen the Tinker Bell deck there recently. Some of Amazon's...
