    2 Resorts 1 Package Deal

Has anyone been able to book two resorts under one package. We are going in August using the free dining plan and would like to stay at two resorts POR & WL. One thought I had was booking POR for the entire length of our trip to get the full dining plan. Then book WL for a few days cancelling...

    Extra Magic Hours

We are visiting WDW in August :sohappy: and I can't find how long each of the evening EMHs are. Does it vary by park? I'm assuming the times listed for park hours do not include the EMH. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

To free Disney Dine or not too!!!!

We just booked using the free dining plan and were able to add an extra 2 days of vacation time as opposed to without dining. Save the 1 Day pass for another time and go for it! It's a great deal

Port Orleans French Quarter or Riverside?

We stayed at Riverside the last time we were at WDW and loved it. We toured FQ and it was nice too, just not our taste though. The pool at Riverside is better themed, the landscaping is nicer. It is a lot bigger but I think that helps to make it feel less crowded. If we don't stay at a deluxe...

We're losing an hour of magic!

I don't believe DST is going away - I think it starts a few weeks earlier next year and ends a few weeks later.

Shuttle vs. Car & Parking Tips

We've rented a car the last two times we've visited. Its nice to have the convenience of not having to wait for a shuttle and to be able to go off site for a show or shopping. You could also just rent a car for a day or two if you wanted to. I believe you can do it any of the resorts or the...

    Water Parks

They are both great - my daughter who is 10 enjoys TL a little better especially the wave pool! BB slides seem a little longer and faster where TL has a better lazy river and wave pool. I haven't tried Crush & Gusher at TL yet but that looks like fun as well! Like most things at WDW you can't go...

    how much for AAA

I think its usually between 10%-15% depending on the type of resort. The percentage is higher for values and moderates than for deluxe. Depending on the time of year you go sometimes Disney offers better deals than AAA discount. :)

October trip... I have a couple questions?

I went a few years ago at the end of October and the weather was warm with no rain. Great weather for walking around the parks or enjoying the water parks or pools. I don't think MNSSHP should be ruled out because you are solo. If you aren't into the trick or treating or parades its a great...

New POTC article, new details released

Most of the attractions at Disney parks are based on Disney movies, although POTC is a classic ride changng it fits right in with the Disney idea - promote Disney movies and characters and allow us to live Disney movies through Disney rides. I'm all for the change as long as its done...

    ToT

ToT is the BEST ride at WDW. As stated before there are seat belts and also hand holds at your sides - but it's no fun if you hold on! Ride it you'll love it - if you like this sort of thing!?!?!

    L&M Rental Car

We tried to use L&M once and when we got to the counter they told us they didn't have the car type requested (convertible Eclipse) available. They were willing to upgrade us to a Grand Cherokee or some other SUV. Luckily we had also booked a convertible with Dollar and just slid down to their...

    trip in May 06

I'm going at the same time next year too! The Unofficial Guide lists these dates in the 6-7 range on a scale of 1-10. 10 being the most crowded. So it shouldn't be too bad....

    Just got back

Glad you had a great time. How were the crowds?

How to access the Soarin Over California music Server now online

This is an internal network address. No one will be able to access this. If you want others to have access to your server you need to give out your firewall's/routers external IP address and configure this to point to your server. This can be dangerous from a security stand point though. I'd...

    Moderates vs Value

It all depends on what frills you're looking for. Value resorts do less in the way of theming and food. Moderates are better with a better feel to them and usually better pools (I found FQ's pool to be on par with ASMo's.) You should also consider how much time you'll spend at the resort...
