Haunted mansion would never get designed and built today. We can’t even have a “scary” adventure for Snow White! (The end Snow White ride is still very good - they did a good job with the update but still… worth noting).

When it opened it with effects working it was great! Only got to ride it a couple times and I’m sad they gave up on it.

Sure. But recent issues seem to suggest that there might not be enough oversight, inspection, and correction. It’s a balancing act. Cause too much is wasteful.

Some pretty big issues do get missed though. The worst recent issue was rise of the resistance which probably cost the company a good amount of money cause opening with only the falcon was not impressive. Of course if they hadn’t cut entertainment as well…..

It’s definitely not a good look for a company to allow questionable jokes and content but then say “oh but you can’t make fun of our company” - cause then it’s basically saying the other topics are fine to make fun of.

*edit to above - double checked the post and HEA did score a bit better than enchanted - with wishes being above HEA.

According to Len’s data - wishes was the highest rated with Enchanted and HEA being about the same. I don’t know why WDW has never brought back wishes - it wasn’t a particularly expensive show and even if for a limited time it would be a hit.

I do like that idea - muppet labs being part of the imagination institute makes sense for many reasons. But Epcot has so many screens to watch already - I don’t think it would get as much attention as DHS.

Yeah…. A light changing color or screen getting brighter isn’t a magical moment. I could adjust the brightness on my laptop all day long, even time it to music, that’s not magical lol.

Yes, definitely a NYC thing - but I’ve had some insanely good re-heat slices in nyc. And some average ones too of course. Actually what they should do at the boardwalk when they reopen a restaurant at the old big river space they should convert the entire old Spoodles restaurant into counter...

I realize programming is way more complex than I can imagine for something like this - but if they could do a for real universe of energy overlay with music and video - I’d pay so much!!!

That’s a $40 pizza! That’s double the price they charge for a whole pizza at pop century so even by Disney price standards that’s crazy.

I never went. It was open when I was younger - but I had no interest in it. When my true interest in the parks began - it was closed. But “blood” being splattered on you is much less Disney friendly then a hanging corpse in my book

with the speed of the trains - I do think a fully lit yeti with limited motion would be more impressive than the strobe light.
