    Poor condition of Magic Kingdom

Yup, I will add that I am here, and yeah, there are a good number of refurbs, sure you miss some of your favorite rides (because they are all your favorite) but still PLENTY to do and having a great time (minus the TOUR GROUPS...)

Need Advice....Gotta Get Away From This Tour Group!

Hello! I am currently staying in PO:Riverside...and the tour group here is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!! Loud, obnoxious, and no courtesy. Knocking on the wrong doors at 1am, calling the wrong room very late, sitting blocking stairs not moving as you approach. From what I have been told, a big...

The One Resort That Will Always hold That SPECIAL spot in Your Heart! YOUR FAVORITE R

CBR is my favorite! Love the theming! I am a huge fan (like everyone else here) of the Disney theming that was not created as an obvious tie in to a movie or franchise! Granted, CBR now ties in to POTC, but it wasn't created for that. Not wanting to get off topic, but reading all of these...

Official Disney Parks Blog to host live chat with Fantasyland Imagineer Chris Beatty

I agree with the general sentiment... generic, high level answers. Would have been nice to have him just talk to us like a normal person would.

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

I think all this talk of Disney creating this situation is a bit off. To start, Disney will make policies to try and keep the restaurants fully booked all day long, or come as close to that as they can. This new policy is not to make reservations easier to get (tho it will do that), it's to make...

    "Must Do Disney" Being Updated?

+1 Maybe my memory is skewed because I was younger then, but the old loops with the tours of the parks seemed to be a lot longer, maybe an hour or so. The current loop with the "Must Do's" is about what, 10-15 minutes?? (Anyone have more accurate times?) I think that is the worst part...

    Wifi at AKL

Here is an article from CNN discussing the free/wifi internet at hotels! No real new info in the article, just re-iterates this discussion and how the more expensive the hotel, the more likely you are to pay for wifi! http://www.cnn.com/2011/TRAVEL/09/16/hotel.internet.fees/index.html?hpt=hp_bn12

Merchandise Watch '11: Turning the Corner on Unique Souvenirs?

Wow!!! I am so disappointed right now! I don't think we are turning the corner, I think quite the opposite. Here is a new example why. Whenever I have something that I wanted to buy from the parks, since the "Disney Store" never has anything, I would call WDW Mail Order. They would ALWAYS be...

New RFID technology in the parks?

DISCLAIMER: I am not afraid of the wristbands, nor trying to scare people! :) Your post is accurate! However, the worry is not that someone can scan your bracelet and know your name and address. The worry is that if they can read your bracelet, they can copy it and then act like they are you...

Soda price increase at all locations throughout the Magic Kingdom

This is probably mostly true, however, I do have a friend from the south, and he does call all pop coke! Maybe he does it just to have fun with that "stereotype", who knows.

D23 attraction announcements - let's hear your predictions

Agree. Especially about the Iron Man, Only way that would ever happen is if they sold the parks :lookaroun (Yay! 100 posts!)

    Why did Disney cut back?

Rob is correct on this. I can confirm that this happens every year. All of the normal restaurants will eventually be added to the list, and there has never been a lapse in accepting DDP at those restaurants. I agree, Disney is kinda stuck in that they have to release this information before it...

Magic Masters to close at Downtown Disney West Side - replaced by 'Something Silver'

Very nice! Hmm, I bought a few tricks there, but never received the lesson.... must not have bought the right ones.... I guess my sarcasm detection is off these days...

D23 attraction announcements - let's hear your predictions

They have a one hour presentation. With all of their parks and resorts, doesn't leave a lot of time to touch on each of them. Based on this, I am saying we know about everything that will be "announced", and the rest will be updated art/models of already known projects.

Magic Masters to close at Downtown Disney West Side - replaced by 'Something Silver'

I don't think that he was being sarcastic, and I think it would be GREAT to have a magic shop at MK again! I am all for returning to individual shops on Main St!

Magic Masters to close at Downtown Disney West Side - replaced by 'Something Silver'

Wow...my mind is blown!!! That would be an AWESOME restaurant!!! In fact, I would practice my magic, and move down to become a waiter! Oh man, so many good ideas for this restaurant!!! As for Magic Masters, again very sad that it's closing, such an interesting and well designed store! Plus...

Magic Masters to close at Downtown Disney West Side - replaced by 'Something Silver'

Very sad to hear this!!! Yeah, I noticed a lot of people who would watch the tricks and then just leave. When I like a store, or think a place is neat, I try to support them if I can for this very reason, to keep them in business. I have a few magic tricks from Magic Masters here, and they are a...

New RFID technology in the parks?

I think that is a big part of the reason I don't see them doing this wristband for every guest. It's not feasible or necessary. Put it this way, new wristband = Key to the World. You only get a key to the World if you are staying on property. For everyone else, I would imagine the Fastpass and...

    Le Cellier Walkups

Thanks for the tips! I am sure the food is excellent! Having never been over there, and being someone who stays "in the magic" the whole trip, how is the theming over there? Are they just your average nice restaurant, or anything special/Disney about them?
