Why is this being treated differently? I don't know, If I remember right it was after a boy died from this in a central FL lake (non Disney) in the mid/late 90's then they closed the lakes to swimming at WDW then closed RC soon afterwards, liability?......I lost a friend in a FL lake years...

It's the Amoebas that they worry about, I doubt the water's anymore "polluted" than any other lake in FL. I found the following...... "Once inside the body, these amoebas just divide and divide, and you will have an overwhelming infection very quickly." Although the state has counted...

How about golf cart rides or Horse drawn carriages then ??? : ;) I would be :sohappy: if they would put more electric cart paths around the Kingdom, a back road around the lake to MK from FW would be sweet! Heck while I'm at it one to MGM and Epcot also.... heck I'd never take a bus...

Years ago we got to ride Space Mtn several times in a row during a down pour it was sweet! nowadays I'd need three Advil and a six pack to get through it again :lol: I remember when everyone would wear the same yellow Mickey ponchos, man you turn your back one time and the whole family...

The waves at Typhoon Lagoon are nearly impossible to ride all they do is knock everyone around and into each other, there's no curl I don't know how they surf in the morining unless they change the wave somehow? I've lived by the ocean all my life, ride waves for days, I don't get it? This...

Their testing high speed cable modems in the cabins now and it's free while they work out the bugs! :sohappy: The transportation is a thousand times better than it was in 95-96 (?) no more going to the T&TC it was a breeze getting to and from the parks. Golf carts are a must have IMO rent...
