    Fantasmic Reopening Watch

That looks pretty reasonable based on the progress. Infrastructure done by end of year, technical done end of Jan. and a month of rehearsals. Then the show goes another 15 years without a refurb ;)

Is the Swan or Dolphin better?

Dolphin also can sleep 5 people with a rollaway due to the smaller beds. Thats a major consideration for our family.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

I'm confused why anyone thinks they would/should allow the train through a hard hat area? It definitely can't come back until release to operations.

EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I'm curious whats up with the names. Do you think they just pick whatever building is closest to the work location? Its theoretically possible that there is a Utilidor entrance where Pasta Piazza was that they're shoring up the foundations on, but the fountain control bldg was one of the first...

    World Drive Phase-III

All we know is that they're moving a road. They dont have to build there just yet. This could be 30 years out and it still makes sense to have the infrastructure in place as part of the current RCID work. Unless you're talking about a DVC tower in the luau spot, because that makes a whole lot...

    World Drive Phase-III

Bob Holland said the funding and demand have never alligned at the right time with the right idea. Disney is aware they don't get a do-over on that site and they don't want to build something value engineered.

    World Drive Phase-III

I'm not sure how this became a SJ traffic thread, but I definitely disagree with you. 73 was the higher traffic corridor that needed the solution and the overpass resolves that very nicely. If you're going from the turnpike to Virtua, that intersection is not your pain point anymore. 70 is still...

    Fantasmic Reopening Watch

The angle's not great on this shot. A lot of PVC going in.

News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

It was literally hurting people. Guest satisfaction was low. Sometimes you do addition by subtraction. I have no basis for this but part of me still thinks they'll replace it with another off the shelf attraction and thats why they're moving so fast, with a theming company doing the demo.

Where is Walt's plane? UPDATE - Coming to D23 2022

It's been repainted since 2019 at least. Latest developments were the fence and plastic covering, then the plastic getting damaged in August. If the Fox video really is from this week and not archival footage to generate clicks, they took the torn cover off.

Where is Walt's plane? UPDATE - Coming to D23 2022

I don't think theres any mystery here. Bio's latest aerials showed the plastic covering was damaged by a storm. Looks like they removed the covering to redo it, this time with twice as much duct tape. I'd love to see it displayed, though. Maybe in that soon-to-be big hole where Primeval Whirl was.

EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I'm suprised and happy to see youre going to be able to get so close to the spaceship. I'd assumed we'd be blocked at the outside of that triangle where the planters are... unless it is going to be characters/CMs on the inside.

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

Not sure why you're referencing EPCOT? Suppose I wasn't clear in what I was saying. If you look at the pictures, they certainly *did* paint the steel and concrete supports brown. Not cladding was probably cost cutting. I'm saying that as far as I can tell, the structural members for the old...

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

The unstained concrete is just odd and kinda jarring. You only really see that in the parks when its temporary work. I think we need to remember though that this structure was built to 2021 building code, not 1971. I'd be surprised to find out the old station wasn't a huge fire trap with all...

Camera appears on the top of Spaceship Earth at EPCOT

I'd imagine this makes it more Harmonious/promotion related, as that seems pretty well finished while the points seemed to be mid testing this week.

Social distanced Fantasmic coming by February.

Nice write-up @gerarar ! The ship looks primed, grey now not white as in the last picture. three increasing sized smokestacks removed... probably for paint? Hope so as that was a nice tie in to steamboat Willie. Some interesting pieces behind the SUV, almost looks like it could fit together...
