    Jungle Cruise Update

Why is there so much whining about the JC event??? $75??? Man, that's a steal!!!! Does no one remember the last similar Jungle Cruise event like this? That one was for a JC 'brunch' where you got to eat breakfast on the boat and hang out on the attraction back in 2015. Only that one cost $300...

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

Looking at the availability calendar today I understand why this discount is being given out. Basically the rush to see the park is pretty much over and you could've bought a ticket to go today. They see the writing is on the wall and reservations are slowing waaaaaaay down now. Disneyland's...

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

Basically Disney is admitting that considering CA residents are now getting discounts in the first week of July.

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

Yep! That's still nuts to me but it's cheaper than it will be in years for this time a year. With taxes and 'resort fees' you will still be paying over that but still a lot less.

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

Also what no one mentioned is that the hotels are also being discounted between now through October 2nd with a 20-25%. That's pretty unheard of for the summer which tells you a lot of tourists are probably not filling up the resort either. That's a pretty good deal too because you're probably...

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

Not sure about that soon but wouldn't be shocked it was sometime by the end of the year. September is going to be a ghost town and they know it, hence why the passes are good through the end of September. They may figure the Halloween stuff will bring people back in October and Christmas after...

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

3 days for a single park a day is $249. 3 days for a park hopper is $304. It was actually $55. Still a REALLY good deal. Especially in the middle of summer.

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

Not necessarily. To upgrade to a park hopper it's only $55. I think A LOT of people will do that because you're basically just adding an additional $18 for 2 parks over 3 days. And tons of people still want to see Avenger's Campus.

Disneyland introduces so cal resident discount tickets for the summer

Not surprised. Been saying it for months, it's no way the park is going to keep up attendance for that long once the hardcore had their fill and even I was suggesting it would last at least through the end of the summer. Apparently it didn't even last halfway through the summer for Disney...

    Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

Because it's summer and the park has been closed a year. The parks do well every summer. The real question is where will it be come January after everyone has had their fill and holidays are over.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Honestly everything that is there I genuinely like. Sure I wish it was at least a few acres bigger (and it still can be) and they had a better second tier ride (or a more original one) but it looks fun to me. I won't know until I ride it for myself. But I wanted a Marvel land literally the day...

Have to agree with that. But I'm shocked how amazing Sam's Captain America costume looks. Pretty cool. I don't have an issue with the SM costume either.

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Oh OK, that's great then. I can't remember the last time I saw them personally. Maybe 2018? They certainly don't have the presence as before but it's great they are still around. But I really like the atmosphere in AC. It feels very lived in. And even though its small it looks SO spacious, at...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

That's really the key to this land, is the interaction. It just makes a a HUGE difference and it makes the area feels more alive, which is the issue with GE as been said many times. But I love seeing all the characters and the little performances they put on. Now how long that last is another...

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to use Virtual Queue

I think at the VERY least they could've presented one villain in the ride and maybe have them release the Spider bots and you're fighting him along with trying to clean up the mess he created. Imagine having the Vulture from the Homecoming movie in it and he's facing off with Spider man and...

    Anyone else still like DCA?

Yep still love DCA. It went from a 'this sucks' park at the beginning to a 'this is pretty cool' park for me. Yes it took about 10 years but it happened lol. That said I still don't think it's worth the 1 day ticket price though (at least the current prices) and probably wouldn't spend on that...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

We have to agree to disagree about the stunt shows. I watched them all on Youtube and looks great! Haven't seen the WEB ride yet but yeah it definitely sounds very mixed. But overall like what I see on the campus in general. But NO rush to see it on my own, especially with the crazy food...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Mermaids don't actually buy real estate in California. I mean c'mon. You can't say superheroes don't fit but somehow pretend fictional aquatic women feel right at home in San Diego or Torrance. Its ALL fantasy, seriously. Most of the stuff in DCA doesn't really fit anymore. The Incredibles are...

Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

Have zero issues with them being in the parks. They fit just fine to me. But haven't seen the Strange show yet and won't until I see it in person, but I'll definitely agree they could've made an awesome ride. And they still can!
