Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

Looks like Disney has their new excuse when the movie flops. It cost at least 200 to make it and 100 million in marketing. So by those probably fudged estimates it would have to make 600 million to just breakeven.

Changing the Haunted Mansion at WDW

Your idea about the dog made me think of something... How about a pet cemetery scene??? It could have cats, dogs, frogs, skunks and others like in the Disneyland and World versions. With maybe an homage to old attractions that have been removed (Mr. Toad, Splash Mountain, Country Bears and...

Changing the Haunted Mansion at WDW

I like the idea of the man in the spiderweb at the beginning. It would take care of what parents see as a problem. Some people for some strange reason don't want to talk about suicide to their child during a family vacation. Weirdos!

    Re-Do: The Movie Edition

Cinderella is one of the rare good ones of all the Live Actions. So out of respect I decided to not replace, but just to do a newer version of it. With a new cast as if I was doing it right now. It would have more of an emphasis on the animal characters left out of the original Live Action. Like...

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

It doesn't make sense though. Sonic is in much less theaters domestically than Mufasa, even though it is earning more per theater. Also Mufasa IS in more IMAX theaters, which are larger theaters that cost more per ticket.

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

Alright, The Little Mermaid (2023) then. Hopefully Mufasa doesn't gross more than that one.

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

Yeah, most people on this thread don't want to mention those things. Because it doesn't support their arguments.

    Re-Do: The Movie Edition

LOL, He already played Hercules in 2014. His wig... I mean hair looked great in it. It was definitely the true star of the movie. His hair was great in Con Air too w/ Nic Cage. I'd love to get an interview with it and learn about it's experiences working with two legends.

Why a Darth Vader show or movie would be perfect

My "Hollywood Studios" to "Hollywood Adventure" Transformation

I think they should go with Mike's Pizza P'eye, for the Monstropolis quick service. I'm not sure if a pizza place is staying or not though. Now that Harryhausens (a Japanese restaurant) is replacing Mama Melrose, who shares a kitchen with Pizzerizzo.

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

If Disney's not fudging the numbers and they get 600. That is only a breakeven amount. There's no reason for any Pixie Dusters to celebrate if they hit it. Last time I checked they're running a business that wants to make money. ... Or at least they wanted to in the past. Iger seems like lately...

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

Mufasa has been out since December 18th in some countries. Plus Disney has it in more theaters and bigger theaters domestically. There's definitely some major backdoor deals or threats going on. "If you want Avatar 3 you have to put Mufasa in more theaters."

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

Since when did possibly losing 100's of millions of dollars become a success??? That sounds like delusions of grandeur. If it gets less than 600 million than it's a flop. No matter how you make up the numbers.

    S.E.A. Cinematic Universe: The Reboot

Christopher Nolan would be perfect to helm this franchise, or at least the first film. He could get all of his favorite actors he loves working with like Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Kenneth Branagh and maybe even Robert Downey Jr.

    S.E.A. Cinematic Universe: The Reboot

That's actually a great idea and totally original. Thus Disney would probably not do it nowadays lol, but it could be awesome.

Disney’s Mufasa - the lion king

You do realize they have to make at least 600 million right?* *If Disney isn't lying about the numbers

What if…Magic Kingdom was built today?

Yep, Splash Mountain was probably my 3rd favorite attraction, behind Haunted Mansion and Pirates. Much like The Great Movie Ride it will be sorely missed. I didn't even go on Tiana's during my trip in September. It's such a worse version of the ride I just couldn't bring myself to go on. Even...

Why a Darth Vader show or movie would be perfect

I'd usually agree with this, but Star Wars is so destroyed already it can't possibly get worse. ... Right??? Cut to a month from now Bob Iger - "We are remaking the original trilogy."

Why a Darth Vader show or movie would be perfect

Darth The First Season The series tells what happened to Darth Maul after Obi-Wan cut him in half, but it eventually transitions to his replacement Darth Vader. Who he eventually battles in the last episode. Maul’s episodes revolve around him feeling betrayed by the Emperor and his slow...
