Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2016

I have been searching but cannot find the answer to my question. So here it is. We are going to the first MNSSHP on 9/2/2016. I am just coming up on my Fastpass select date and realized I may be able to schedule fastpasses for the time between 4-7pm on the day of the party. However we are not...

The stuff you need to pack for kids that you forget about

Love this idea! I always pack the kids clothes by complete outfit, but never rolled them up. This will definitely help! and my husband won't have to ask what goes with what for the kids.

    Walmart food shop help

Snacks - Applesauce in squeeze pouches, raisins, granola bars, nurti grain fruit bars, animal crackers/gold fish crackers, pringles (chips that come in a can so they don't get smashed) Dinners - Campbells makes a bunch of skillet and oven sauces that you get the meat/veggies and just add them to...

The BIG taboo.... Breastfeeding (and ISO other infant tips)

I nursed all three of my children around WDW. My DS at 5 weeks, my DD at 4 months and my other DD at 4 weeks. The easiest was the 4 month old since she was 1. the best nurser I had and 2. she was a little older and experienced while nursing in any position. But all three were fine. I usually...

Thinking of driving down with an infant. Crazy?

We have driven to WDW from PA for the last 7 years. Our oldest will be 7 this year. We have done the drive with a 5 week old in 2009, that was because we missed the auto train. However he did great and we stopped so I could nurse him about every 2-3 hours. Last year we had DS 6, DD 4, and DD...

    A Sensitive Topic...

Last year we arrived at our resort around 10 AM and luckily our room was ready. We had just driven 16 hours straight through so while my husband took a nap I took my older two to the pool. After the pool my 4 year old daughter was tired and fell asleep. She had an accident during her nap. We...

    Strollers?

I would actually go the opposite of others here. I would not take a stroller. Disney is much flatter than Hershey Park, although Disney is bigger the hills make walking around Hershey much harder. If you find after the first day or so that your son is having a hard time then rent a single...

    Rider swap confusion

We were just there in September and used ride swap extensively as we have 2 that were under 40". 1. We took the whole party up to the fast pass line and requested a rider swap. The cast member needs to see the baby (or person under 40") before they will hand out the legacy fastpass that says...

    Memory Maker Confusion

I just wanted to clarify that the photos do have an expiration from the date they are taken. The photos will disappear from your Photopass account 45 days after they are taken. You can pay to have that date extended though if needed.

Suggestions for our first trip as parents with a 2 year old

Things to Bring-Bring a back pack for a diaper bag/park bag. Use Gallon bags to keep things organized in said Park Bag. Diapers/wipes in one, snacks in another, and change of clothes in a third. It was so much easier to find what you needed in the bag quickly. And the whole bag didn't have to...

    7 month old in November

We went to WDW the first week in Dec when DS was 14 months old. He wore long pants the whole week and long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt in the morning and evenings. I think the outfits are cute and would still have the baby wear them to start the day, with a pair of light long pants. But be...

    Traveling with infant

We traveled with an infant seat last year and you did not have take the baby out on the regular buses. We also had a snap and go. It was cumbersome on the buses but well worth it in the park. I think you will find you will end up wearing the baby more than you think. it is much easier to get on...

What to do with little kids around/near Space Mountain

astroOrbiter does not have a height requirement, but it is on top of the lunching pad so if scared of heights that won't be a good idea. People Mover, Carousel of Progress my 5 year really liked. Also Buzz Lightyear Ranger spin was a huge hit with my 5 and 4 year old.

    Trip Club September 2015

Sept 26 - Oct 3 (we start driving on 9/25) @ CBR. First time staying there so we are excited. We did get all our ADR, but Fastpasses are another story. We didn't get A&E :( We have two 4 year olds that really want to meet them to, so either RD or during the MNSSHP. We are going to MNSSHP on 10/1.

    MNSSHP parade

Last year Columbia House closed at 5pm. We planned on eating there before the party and were turned away. Pecos was open till 9 (I think), but they started closing seating areas around 6. Our section got closed while we and another family were finishing our meals. I would recommend eating well...

Boat from POFQ to Beach Club? Help me settle a debate...

That is exactly what I thought! We were looking at a Google map too, but it was on my iPhone so it was small. And he still didn't believe me. :)

Boat from POFQ to Beach Club? Help me settle a debate...

The last time we traveled to WDW with my parents (in 2012) my father swears that he and my mother took a boat from POFQ to the Beach Club. I have sworn up and down that this isn't possible. Can anyone prove me right or wrong?

    Flying with a lap baby...

We flew with a lap infant a few times and Southwest always checked the birth certificate. So I would definitely take the original. As for the pouches, I would put them in a bag definitely, though I don't think they will explode. Even if squished a bit in your bag. I would put them between...
