We did this last April and went to Brown Derby and LOVED IT!!! We almost didn't do the package and then said what the hey. It was a nice relaxing way to finish a day at DHS rather than standing close to sweaty people for over an hour.

This is somewhat like the school district my children are in. They are not allowed more than 5 absences a semester. Nothing excused. I tried to take my 3 DDs out of school and they weren't allowed. However, people who get suspended from the school counts as excused absences...makes zero sense...

Its my nightmare too. Kids see Disney now as Zack and Cody, High School Musical and Camp Rock. I think more Disney Channel stuff is going to come. But I don't think it will completely take over the parks.

I would gladly take my two younger DD out of school and travel around the first week in December. My oldest though is in College and has finals around that time. I couldn't imagine going without her though. But the beginning of December was talked about because the rates also don't seem as high.
