    Birthday Memories at Disney World

My DD now 20, celebrated her 16th birthday in the world. On the day we went to Animal Kingdom we were watching the parade and one of the female dancers went up to my daughter and said oh it's your birthday today? Then she stopped the parade and told everyone in the crowd to wish my DD a happy...

Lots of new pics of Art of Animation Resort in Sentinel

Personally, I love how the rooms look. We are a family of 5 and have always stayed Value or CBR, haven't tried anything else because we can't afford $300+ a night. When I go to Disney, I am one of those people who like to be surrounded by Disney. I don't want to feel like I am just at a motel 8...

    Who is more Excited?

I have three girls, currently 12, 15, and 20. The older two both went through the "I'm too cool for Disney, don't make me take a picture with that character phase". It's those early teenage years around 12-15. Right now all three of my girls are Disney nuts and all super excited. I don't see the...

Is it just me or are the AoA suites not very functional?

They are convenient for my family. We are a family of 5, me, my DH, and our 3 girls who are 12,15,and 20. We have never stayed in a suite before because normally we either get one room with a roll away bed (which is way to small for us) or get two rooms connecting (not a bad option). However...

Space Mountain is slowly creeping its way up. The scene with the blue lights flashing past you is on almost everything disney.

    POP Century Era Help!!

70s is my favorite to stay in due to location and the decorations. However, if you are looking for quiet, the 50s as long as you are not facing the pool is quietest. We had a room on the second floor facing the lake and it was always very quiet.

    What to expect in June

We will definitely be taking it slow around World Showcase. Last time we went it was 92 degrees in April and the sun was in full power. We all left with burns and DD20 had to stop for water 4 times because she felt light headed. We'll be going in every country for shade and A.C :)

Question: Welcome shows and when they let you in the park

We saw a Welcome show at Animal Kingdom in April 2010. It was short, only about 5 minutes. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and goofy came out on floats and welcomed us to the park then the floats drove off and CMs held us back by a rope as we walked into the park. Once we got to the tree of life, they...

Disney confirm opening timetable for the remainder of the new Fantasyland

We are going June 18th no matter what but we were hoping for all of storybook circus to be open by then. I don't understand how hard it is to place to old Dumbo in the new location but apparently that takes several months
