1 BR at WL or Standard at Poly?

My husband is tired of hearing about resorts from me. We've switched like 5 times already. Prices and availability kept changing. We started at AoA and then I eventually found YC club level for almost same price as family suite. We lose the space of the suite, but gain the location perks. This...

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

I'm 95% sure we're going to do Kingdom Strollers as well. Which one are you going with? I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

It's a great option to have and I'm actually kind of amazed my son will still let me wear him considering he's usually go, go, go. They make something called frog togs that's like a cool pack or towel you can wrap around your body or put in between you and baby to help keep both of you cool...

1 BR at WL or Standard at Poly?

We are currently booked in a standard room standard view at Poly for one night at the tail end of our trip. We'll spend a half day in MK on this day. It seems I'm reading lots of negative reviews about Poly lately and people complaining it's dated and not worth the money. So I did some quick...

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

Going in June, but I moreso meant putting him carrier while in queue or on a short walk when we separate. Won't be for long periods of time. My back can't stand carrying around 25 lbs for long.

    Yacht Club Enhancements

We received this for or stay in the beginning of June too, so I'd assume it may be able by then too. Will update when we go :)

    An evening without the kids...

I have read Abracadabar on the BoardWalk is kid friendly. It's a bar, but there are magicians. Of course, everywhere (just about) is kid friendly. Maybe y'all could get the best of both worlds by trying that out? You may be able to ask concierge once you check in. Best of luck!

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

This is a good idea too. My 14 month old still tolerates the carrier, so I guess we just need to make a decision. I was planning on putting him in the carrier when we split up, but may consider two singles.

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

I'm thinking we'll only have to drive to MK zone day, so we may still consider bus. We have breakfast at Chef Mickey's, so will walk from Contemporary that day. And then we're splitting our stay at staying at Poly the last night, so we'll take the boat then.

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

We are doing the double jogger. Our 4 year old daughter is too big for a tandem, in fact, she is almost too big for the BOB stroller, but we'll also have our 14 month old. We'll be taking the boat from Yacht Club and boat from Polynesian, so fingers crossed they won't fill those up too much...

Parks and Transportation with double stroller

Going in June and renting a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers. we are staying at YC so we at least get to walk/boat for two days. I'm trying to decide to bus or drive (we'll have our car), but I'm not sure what's the lesser of two evils: folding up stroller on bus or to get on tram. Also...

    Yacht Club Room Renovations

We are staying in June and I'm wondering too. Seems 5th floor is complete and 4th MAY be as well.

Cape May with a non-seafood eater

Staying at YC as family of 4, and hoping to try some options near the hotel. We are 60 days out, so a lot of the hard to get reservations are gone. DH does not eat seafood. Is it a good choice for someone who doesn't like seafood? Any other suggestions in the general area? We are on Dining Plan...

    Yacht Club Concierge Level

How long are the halls on the 5th floor (club level) of Yacht Club? I will be making my room requests and if the hallways aren't too long, being close to the elevators will not be essential for us. But if they are as long as some of the other floors that people really complain about, I will be...

FP for 3 days at MK with small children

My FPs open tomorrow (yay :)) and I am struggling with choosing FPs for three days in Magic Kingdom, so bear with me while I spell out our plans and I'll tell you what FPs I'm using. I need input for our last day. Day 1 (Frontierland, Adventureland, Liberty Square, small portion of Fantasyland)...

    Moana Meet and Greet

Hopefully she has become more interactive. In December, when asked if she had been on any adventures lately, she replied, "I drive here everyday in my car, does that count?" Eeeeek!

    Which Frozen show is better?

I know you are trying to retract your question, but I have to say that we were not impressed with the Frozen Sing-a-long at Hollywood. The characters who host it aren't even in the movie, and the majority of the show was projected scenes from the movie. So not worth it, in my opinion, and my...

What is the right age (for your family) to start bringing kids to WDW?

Totally a personal choice. I hate the "they won't remember" argument though. I have been to Disney countless times (I am now almost 32). I barely remember my trips from middle school and early high school. The only things I DO remember are being MADE to ride Splash and Tower of Terror because we...

    FP+ at 7:50/9:00am 60 days out

Thanks for the response! My stay is beginning of June for 6 days. We are doing EPCOT, Hollywood, and 3 days at MK. I will be shooting for 60 days exactly for FEA, 60+1 TSM, and 60+2+3+4 for 7DMT. I am a teacher also, but on EST :)

    Magic Band arrival?

Because there's a chance they may NOT be there by the time people leave if there are significant delays. Many people go straight to the parks while waiting on their rooms to be ready, so this could cause issues. At least that's what I'd imagine would cause irritation for some.
